No, but the faucet you use has to match the connector to the filter. FYI: We have recommended the filter to several friends and family members and all have chosen to use the faucet that comes with the filter.

How can I install this system for water dispenser on countertop and to the ice maker line to refrigerator?

You can go to your local hardware store and get another fitting just like the one Aquasana sent you with your install kit. Install that fitting right on top of the fitting you installed from Aquasana then hook up the service line to your counter top dispenser. Now you have a place for the water line that feeds your filters and the water line that feeds your refrigerator. I hope I made this clear. Glad to help.

I have the Aquasana app, but the percentage of the filter life isn't showing. My Bluetooth is on. Any suggestions? I changed the battery around, thinking the installer had it in wrong. Which way does the battery go?

Good luck with the bluetooth. I never got it to work. Now as for the filter, I love it and am on the automatic replacement program.

I recently just replaced my filters for the first time in my 3 stage filter system. Very easy to do but now my water pressure from my faucet is very weak. Any ideas? Thanks.

There is a flow restriction valve in each of the canister heads. Why? Because you can unscrew the canister w/o a leak.  You need at least 40 psi of pressure for the water to pass. Sometimes the valves fail. I had to punch out my first filters valve to get it to flow. Now it flows great. But the canister will shoot out water if disconnected. I have to make sure the water is off and the pressure relieved before removing canisters now.  I recommend putting in a particulate filter before the Aquasana filters so the valves don’t get plugged/damaged.

When you hooked it up did you run the water for 15 minutes? You need to do that every time you replace the filters also. Good Luck

The installation is ok, with proper tools I'm able to remove the old one and install this one in an hour. But it's not the product that I need, a lots of limescale. The pictures will show how my water boiler looks like after I use this Aquasana 3-Stage filter for two weeks. Have to return it.

Wanted to love it
First of all this unit will be removed and returned when my plumber comes by. Installation wasn’t easy, needed pliers to install the 1/4 inch outlet hose. Of course one on the cartridges started leaking. Water flavor is good. We wanted to love this unit, but it has to may issues.

Amazing Product!!!
I absolutely love my Aquasana 3-Stage under counter filter! I've been buying bottled water for years and was looking for a more sustainable and cost friendly solution. Not only is it reasonably priced, but most importantly the water tastes super clean and delicious. It really makes drinking water more frequently easy!

Avoid at All Costs
The first time I attempted to install, a faulty plastic connector ring resulted in the the hose breaking loose and spewing water everywhere, repeatedly. I contacted manufacturer (took 4 tries to get through) who first attempted to charge me $5 to ship replacement t connector kit. Which is crazy considering the problem occurred out of the box. 2 weeks later it finally arrived. Now the water supply line holds, but one of the filter cartridges is leaking despite attempting to adjust it. Also slight leak on other end where hose connects to faucet. I am not by any means ignorant of basic household plumbing, but this product is unreliable and now I have another mess to clean up I am tired of fighting with this product, and it's too much work to get through to customer service. I wish I could still return it, but it sat in my basement too long waiting to be installed. Do not throw your money away on this disaster.

I purchased the standard 3-Stage Filter System
In early November, I purchased the 3-Stage Water Filter system. It took me approximately 1-½ hours from start to finish. Upon completion, I removed the plastic insert to start the system and turned on the water supply. Amazingly, there were no water leaks. I flushed the system for 10 minutes, as required, and afterwards, had my first glass of filtered water. The water was delicious! I couldn't have been more satisfied. I unequivocally recommend the Aquasana filter system I have purchased, to anyone wanting wanting an easy-to-install, inexpensive, under-counter system.

Second time cartridge sump busted
2nd time a cartridge sump busted. Much water damage. No reply from Aquasana, like before. Had just received replacement cartridges a few days before. Filter warning light did not come on. BEWARE AQUASANA
