I had undercounter filters from Aquasana in my last two homes. Now I am renting and purchased the Claryum Countertop. Look at the difference in the hoses after less than a month of use by one person. I have city water, and I couldn't believe how quickly the intake hose has yellowed compared to the output hose - which is what I drink from. I've recommended this model to all of my immediate family members.

I would not purchase this product again for ten cents! After several months, we decided,to change the filter cartridges. My wife tried to unscrew the individual cylinders at the bottom of the unit and could not get them to open. I tried to do open them, and was able to remove one, but the other cylinder is so incredibly tight, you could give it to 1000 of the strongest people in this country and they wouldn’t be able to open it. And although I was able to open one of the cylinders, the filter is jammed in so tightly that it won’t come out. A 7 year old could design a better product than this piece,of absolute garbage.

This was incredibly easy to install and it’s easy to use. I love having filtered water at my fingertips, and we use it several times a day! This is perfect for apartment living. I did use a rubber band to loosely hold the tubing out of the way, but it doesn’t interfere in anything.

Finally have a piece of mind that contaminants have been reduced and that 'drink more water' is actually going to be better for my health!

I have been a customer for at least 4 years, and my parents even longer. I must say, I truly like the job this filtration system does. And I have attached a picture to prove it. The filter on the right is the first filter the water enters through. Then it goes into the chamber with the filter on the left. This amazes me, and has made me even more of a loyal customer.

Its wonderful. Clean water right from the tap. The filters are a total pain to change. I think everyone just buys a new one. I've had it for years and I still can't easily change filters.

I'm conscious about the choices I make when it comes to what I put in my body. I really like the simple and effective use of this countertop setup. It was easy to install taking anywhere from 5-15 min. The only thing I'd like to know or have is mineralization and a water structurer.

Setup was simple with easy to follow instructions. I had it out of the box and operational in less than 5 minutes. Now I can make my coffee using tap water and it tastes great. The unit takes up very little counter space and doesn't get in the way. Water flow is reduced when using it but that's to be expected and there are no leaks

The water filter by Aquasana is great in applications where you want your tap water filtered without installing a large filtration system onto your entire house water supply. Out of the box you'll get the silver plastic filter container with filters pre-installed, the chrome metal hose/faucet attachment, the hose assembly and an assortment of adapters and washers for different sinks. The parts count is low, and installation takes less than 20 minutes including flushing the filter once it's hooked up. NOTE: This filter will NOT work with the type of gooseneck faucets where the entire faucet head pulls off as a sprayer. It's important to know that before you buy it. You insert the color coded hoses into the bottom of the filter housing, then unscrew the faucet strainer and screw on the new faucet adapter/filter lines. If you can attach a hose to your faucet, you can install this filter. No plumbing experience, special parts or plumbing tools are needed. Once installed you have to flush the filter for ten minutes and then you're ready to use it for drinking water. You can only use cold water with this filter. Hot water will ruin the filters. Press the tab on the adapter and turn on the cold water. It flows at about 1/2 gallon per minute with the faucet opened all the way. It's completely silent, no odds sounds like some smaller size filters as the water is pushed through. It doesn't take long to fill a pitcher. Once the container or glass is full, shut off the water and the filter valve automatically closes for you, letting you use the regular faucet again. The filtered water is crystal clear and completely odor free. Just like water should be. Replacement filters can be found easily by searching the model number of the filter you have.
