How does the mailbox due in various weather conditions? Is it rust proof?
They don’t do well in hurricane prone areas like Florida. We’ve been through 2 hurricanes and our post rusted out. The pins on the door broke off in the first year. We’ve had the mailbox for 2.5 yrs & have to replace it.

The screws are exposed inside so there is not a flush, smooth bottom. Other brands have a molded piece to fit over exposed screws ensuring a smoother surface.
