The Centennial Mailbox by Architectural Mailboxes is the first design to receive United States Postal Service approval against the new USPS Standard 7C regulation, released in late 2015. Named Centennial, it represents the next generation of mailbox size, since the last traditional size was introduced over 100 years ago in 1915. Meeting the needs of today's consumer, its ample mailbox compartment is designed to receive not only mail and magazines but multiple parcels. This means no more missed deliveries or parcels left out on the porch exposed to weather and thieves. Made with quality construction and heavy gauge materials complete with a die cast aluminum handle and rigid, powder coated steel flag. This attractive design combines aesthetics and functionality servicing all your mail and parcel needs.
  • Larger inner compartment can accept a USPS priority mail large flat rate box 12 in. x 12 in. x 5.5 in. and still has room for additional mail and parcels
  • Heavy gauge galvanized steel body equipped with stainless steel door pins then fully powder coated for corrosion resistance
  • Sleek magnetic door closure provides reliability all while keeping door firmly closed
  • Predrilled 4 in. x 10 in. hole pattern in floor allows for mounting to existing post (installation hardware not included)

Q:When I mounted the mailbox to the plate, the bolts are sticking way up inside the mailbox. The images provided look like the bottom floor of the box should be flat. Am I installing this incorrectly?

                      A:  The Mayne post does not appear to have the same mounting hole pattern as our Centennial Mailbox. I would contact Mayne to ask if the post can be drilled into in order to match with mailbox bolt pattern.

                                A good mailbox for those that get a lot of mail and small packages through USPS. The door pins use cheap cotter pins. They will rust and fall apart quickly and the door will fall off. Otherwise a solid box.

                                  Since buying my house a couple of years ago, we've been using the old, standard size mailbox that the previous owner put in. We order quite a few things online, which sometimes wouldn't fit in that mailbox. Of course, very large packages still won't fit in this one, but it can handle a lot larger packages than the standard one could. I mounted it to a cedar post with a board. Because this mailbox is tall, I was able to fit my cordless drill/driver inside of it when I screwed it to the board. The mailbox is attractive, and closes securely with a magnet at the top of the door. We and our USPS delivery lady are very pleased with this mailbox. I recommend it.
