The Arm & Hammer Refillable Moisture Absorber and Odor Eliminator 14-ounce tub is your convenient solution for continuous cleaner fresher air. This musty odor eliminator works by attracting and trapping excess moisture to maintain an optimal humidity level. It works as an odor absorber, shoe deodorizer, or room freshener where moisture is an issue. To use this odor eliminator, simply remove lid, peel off foil cover, replace the lid, and place in area where excess moisture or stale odor is a problem. Once moisture absorbing crystals have fully dissolved, discard the collected water and refill. This automatic air freshener works like a dehumidifier but without electricity or batteries. Waste of my money

Well you have to remove the white paperish cover you have to leave on the new product when you buy it as a whole to put in refill. We bought 4, used 2 and both turned to rock solid blocks and did nothing at all but take up space. It was a huge waste of money and we will go back to just purchasing the product in its entirety instead of these terrible refills. Very Disappointed.

Thank you for sharing your experience. Arm & Hammer crystals work immediately to absorb excess moisture from the air. The crystals harden and form a solid mass. Then they begin to dissolve and liquid will begin to drip into the bottom chamber. It may take a few days/weeks before liquid begins to drip depending on the humidity and temperature. AandH
