Diffuser makes a big difference
The diffusers made a big difference in the look of the lights. Before the diffusers there were large shadows on the counter.
The package was supposed to have 5 tracks and covers. It only came with 4 tracks. I called the supplier, Armacost, and they sent me the missing piece.

The channel/diffuser system was exactly what I needed for the Armacost LED tape light in areas where the tape light could be seen, such as inside my overhead cabinet that has glass doors. I was able to cut it easily to the exact size that I needed. Mounted with double sided tape for a cleaner look.

Excellent quality and helps protect the LED strip.
I used all 5 pieces (5 meters) to go around on the inside closet door way. The bathroom closet has five shelves and with the LED strip on the wall from 8 inches off the floor to 6 feet up, then 1 meter over the door, another 2 meters down the wall, it'd be easy for the strip to be banged into causing damage.
I have Armacost LED tape installed under the kitchen cabinets without this product. If you have a highly reflective backsplash or granite top, each LED gets reflected off the surface and at certain angles it is a bit annoying. This diffuser spreads the light and minimizes those bright spots.
What was concerning was as you peel the 3M tape off the backing, every three LED is a copper connector. It is where you cut the tape to length. The back part of the LED tape also shows these copper strips. It turned out and it is not mentioned, the the sticky part of the tape that remain the the strip insulates the 12v connector. I check the aluminum rails with an ohm meter and I could not get a reading. There must be a coating on the aluminium. The plastic lens snaps into place.
