This insulation has a 1-5/8-inch inside diameter (ID).
can you paint rubber insulation? if so what type?
Yes, the rubber insulation can be painted. However, the paint must be elastomeric (flexible) in nature. As the standard paint will crack due expansion and contraction of the insulation due to temperature changes. Armacell would recommend ArmaFlex WB Finish.
How many lineal feet come in a carton? Is it really almost $40/lineal foot?
There are 12 lineal feet per carton.
Is this for 1/2” pipes? because the description says that it is for .375” pipes. Can you clarify?
The inner diameter of this insulation is 1/2". This fits over a 3/8" Copper Pipe or 1/4" PVC pipe.
