Hi there! Thank you for taking the time to contact us. The Armstrong Flooring Standard Excelon Imperial Texture Vinyl Composition Tile White Out 57518031 is not a peel and stick floor. This is a dry back commercial tile that will need adhesive as part of the installation process. It would be recommended to be installed over a 1/4" minimum thickness plywood underlayment that is be free of any substance that may stain vinyl such as edge patching compounds, marking inks, paints, solvents, adhesives, asphalt, dye, etc. so it would not be recommended to install over a sealed plywood. The Standard Excelon Imperial Texture vinyl composition tile (VCT) is a commercial grade product that does not have a permanent factory finish applied. Part of the initial maintenance as well as the ongoing maintenance would require that you apply polish to the floor to protect it from staining and damage. Since you would be applying polish you can decide to use either a high gloss or low gloss polish to achieve the gloss you would most desire. Once again, thank you for contacting AHF Products. 3 boxes. Each carton contains 45 tiles each covering 1 square foot. That means to cover 100 square feet two carton will cover 90 with the need to 10 more tiles to cover the rest. Having extra tiles is preferred to allow for waste in cuts.
