How many boxes of tiles needed for 100sq ft
3 boxes. Each carton contains 45 tiles each covering 1 square foot. That means to cover 100 square feet two carton will cover 90 with the need to 10 more tiles to cover the rest. Having extra tiles is preferred to allow for waste in cuts.

Can VCT tile be installed over vinyl plank flooring in a small kitchen?

Armstrong VCT may be glued down directly to a single layer of vinyl plank flooring that is fully bonded to a on grade or above grade concrete or plywood subflooring. We state that the existing vinyl flooring meet the following conditions: -Not textured or embossed enough to show through the new installation. -Only a single layer of flooring. -Fully and firmly bonded on an approved subfloor and underlayment. -Waxes, polishes and other finishes must be properly removed with a recommended floor stripper. For existing linoleum, the stripper should not exceed a pH of 10. -Indentations or damaged areas must be replaced or repaired. What's the highest temperature tiles can hold ?
Hi there! Thank you for taking the time to contact us. There are a couple of different temperature recommendations we provide for the installation of VCT flooring. If installing over a radiant heated subfloor we would recommend that the subfloor surface temperature doesn't exceed 85 degrees F. We also state that the area to receive the resilient flooring should be maintained at a minimum of 65° F (18° C) and a maximum of 100° F (38° C) for 48 hours before, during and for 48 hours after completion. Lastly, during the service life of the floor, the temperature should never rise above 100° F (38° C) nor fall below 55° F (13° C). Which is the correct side to install? I bought it but there is no arrow pointing to it and there is no way to see the difference in brightness.
Hi there, Per our installation instructions, you can find the following passage "VCT is packaged face down except for the last tile in the carton. Before opening, flip the carton of tiles upside down. After removing the first tile, the rest will be face up".
