Will this work to put up some 3/16" thick paneling? It seems by some answers, this gun will not insert a 5/8 or 9/16 staple completely into the wood. If that's the case, why would Arrow build something that can use larger staples than it will push into the wood??? Thanks for any advice you can give to easily put up 2 sheets of paneling with minimal expense.
Asked by: HomeDIY
Depends on hardness of paneling and backing that you are stapling into. Most likely it will not do the job to your satisfaction

Is there a parts list somewhere? Or a diagram? I was using it today and all of a sudden I noticed it was not driving brads all the way like it has before, not even half way. Then I noticed the blue button on the end was not sitting like before. Then I found a spring, looked like it goes in the carriage for the blue button. Put that in like I thought it went, but still sits off when I close and lock it. There are two holes in the blue button and there is one metal pin, but nothing in the other hole. Is there suppose to be another pin? Seems like there should be to hold the button and pressure in place. I looked on the arrow site and no parts breakdown to see if anything is missing. Even googled it. Was really liking this tool, but now it's pretty much useless. Only drove like maybe 200 staples and brads. Shouldn't break this fast. Don't even know what, if anything is missing. Purchased at my local HD store. Don't think I even have the receipt. Any one have a parts diagram?

Sorry for the delay, I was out of town. Mine is packed up, ready to be returned for the same reason. You may be able to find the review I posted with pictures, October 5, 2018, on the HD website. There are no parts list or diagram included with mine. Just a small Assembly and Operations Guide. I would like to add that in response to my review, Arrow requested I contact them, which I just did via email. I'm now waiting to hear back from them. I will update my review with what ever response I get from them. If you haven't returned yours yet, you may want to reach out to Arrow first: customercare@arrowfastener.com.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I used this nail gun to attach cork tiles to... I used this nail gun to attach cork tiles to drywall. After finishing one wall in the room, the winding me mechanism started to make a grinding sound. So I exhanged it for another one. The second one did the same thing after about one wall. It seems unacceptable that a nail gun can't shoot more than a few thousand beads before breaking down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally a stapler that works! I have purchased several electric staplers only to have them jam during important projects leading to my frustration and ultimately a return trip to the store for a refund. I wondered if I would ever find one that would do the job that it was intended for. Eureka! I completed upholstering six chairs in record time with my new stapler and it did not jam. I'm keeping this one. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Neat finish I purchased this product to add extra strength to my glued, mitered picture frame corners. It was easy to load the brads..no jams. The brad penetrated the wood smoothly, leaving a neat finish. Tool is light for easy use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tool for its purpose. I purchased this stapler for a cabinet building project and it has been great so far. Using it to attach trim to drawers faces with the Brad nails and faces to drawers. Good sinking and fairly strong hold from small nails. Comfortable grip and easy to use. Glad that a soft case was included. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from easy to use i bought this for upholstery and various other projects around the house. my hands are too weak to use a regular staple gun. this one is light enough and the trigger is very easy. it took me a minute to figure out how to open the staple compartment but eventually i got it. overall great product so far!
