What are the colors? Different pictures show different.

I loved this window covering. Everyone who saw it thought it was stained glass. Easy to install. Beautiful colors. The hue depends on the settings of you device.

The door I would like to place this on has small window panes. Do I cut this to size?

Yes, I have an exterior door with 4 "x 6" divided lite panes, and I carefully cut the pattern so that it would be a continuous picture between panes. It took some patience, but it came out great.

Does it have to be trimmed precisely or can you trim it after installation?

You can trim it after, using a small sharp blade.

If the glass is 70 3/4" L x 27 3/4" W, how many pieces should I buy ?

3 or 4 depending on how you want to do it and the window configuration. If you want it exactly lined up it will take 4.If you offset the rolls it will only take 3.I used this method but my window isn't as tall as yours and had 2 panes. You don't notice the offset.

Can you apply this over plexiglass?

Mine is for a special application, not a window, but it would be suitable for plexiglass. It is about the thickness of a shower curtain liner.

Is it possible to put the pretty side of the window film facing thru the window so people can see the "stain glass look"

You peel paper off the clingy backside to install, so for people to enjoy from outdoors I think you would need to install on the exterior glass and it may or may not weather well to exterior conditions.

Our bathroom window inside the shower measures 24” high x 48 “ if I buy 2 sheets will the pattern be easy to match

This is not a repeating pattern. If you are trying to do one area taller than one sheet, I do not think you can match it up. I bought 4 rolls of this to cover 12 seperate window panes in our french doors. A lot of cutting required for that application but it is beautiful. I hope this answers your question.

Does this have 2 sheets of 24 by 36 or just one in the Spanish Garden window cling?

This provides light, color, and privacy. Install is easy if you cut accurately. And, even if you don't it's easily corrected. My window, higher and wider than the roll of film, required 3 rolls creatively cut to cover (4 pieces total). You cannot see the seams at all.

Total Privacy | Beautiful | But Matching Design Difficulty
Total Privacy both directions. Beautiful with sun shining through. Two Problems: 1) I did not realize I needed to match the pattern so closely by cutting off additional inch when cutting for two small window panes side by side. Hence the pattern did not match up. There is not enough product left to redo and I'm not spending the additional money as this was too expensive for the amount you get. 2) Do not leave 1/16 inch around the edges. Trim small excess after you have attached to window to get edge to edge precision. Watch Youtube video to see how to use squeegee and sharp utility knife to make these cuts.

Love it, beautiful, easy to install, provides plenty of light through my north facing door, offers some visual security. Had about 1 month. Dominant color is green, gives a spring like feel. No clear spots on film so someone looking into my house at night can only see people shapes not actual person. Further the indoor person is away from the door the less visible their image shape is. I have a faux paned door so removed pane panel, installed film with need for only a little trimming, reinstalled, it was done and beautiful. I live in AZ and great for my north facing door, but I wouldn't install in area with direct hot sunlight.

This product is beautiful, durable, and very easy to apply. I give it 5 stars on the assumption that it isn’t going to fade. Some patterns look more like real stained glass than others; I think this “Spanish Garden” is about the best because of the dimensionality of the “leading.” The "value" score isn't so high because of the trouble it takes to use it, as described below. Not the product's fault, just a fact. The fact is, it is FAR from quick or easy to get the final window to actually look like stained glass; it requires a lot of work. The first reason is that the manufacturer says to leave 1/16” of space around the edge, and I don’t doubt there are good reasons for this. However, that means that there will be a strip of brilliant light around the edge of the pane, which entirely negates the illusion of a real stained glass window. So you have to paint or otherwise hide this gap. In my case, the easiest thing was to mask and paint around the edge of the window with trim paint from the outside of the house. But house paint is actually not very opaque against transmitted light, so over three or four coats were required. You can imagine the huge amount of labor that would be required if you had a multi-paned window! In any case, you can see the little black edge around the pane; that is from the opaque paint on the outside. The second thing to know is that if the window overlooks something dark, you will get a dark, dingy, grey effect, which is something a few reviewers have complained about. This is not the fault of the product. It surprised me because I thought the window would transmit the brightness of the ambient light outside. However, like a regular window, it actually transmits the value (lightness or darkness) of whatever is behind it. In my case, the window looked out on a dark, shady cedar tree across the street. I was very disappointed until I noticed something very strange. The areas I had masked off with masking tape as I was painting the green outside were actually far brighter and warmer in color than the unmasked areas! How could this be? Surely the tape would REDUCE the amount of light coming through the window, not increase it! So, after several days of taking light readings with my old SLR camera under different light conditions, I discovered that “frosting” a window (by taping a piece of tracing paper behind it, etc.) actually INCREASES the light in the room most of the time, sometimes making it four times as bright; in the worst case scenario, under specific conditions, it reduces the light by 25%. Frosting (or other white, translucent window treatment) brightens up the window as well as the room. I attached a picture of another (bathroom) window I frosted, leaving some clear areas, so you can see that the clear areas are only as bright as what you see outside; the frosted part is brilliant and white. So for my “stained glass” window, I took a can of spray-on window “frosting” and frosted the outside of the glass. Again, a big masking project and several coats were required. The photos show the finished window when in the shade (it is brighter/warmer when the sun is shining on it, but I don’t have a picture of that.) The exterior photo shows what this looks like from the outside during the day. At night, when interior light illuminates the window as it is seen from outside, the frosting isn’t noticeable. So the conclusion is: The product is beautiful, but think carefully about the location you want to use it in, and the labor involved in masking and painting, and in frosting the outside if the window overlooks a dark or shady scene. Also, another thing, from my experience on another project with window film: These films don’t work well on windows that are not flat, like older glass. You will have to slit the film to make it lie flat (people who sew will know what I mean).

Lovely design was relatively easy to install in our multi-lite exterior door. Adds color and allows light to pass-through amplifying the garden feel of our room (see picture, which doesn't do it justice because of cell-phone camera limitations).

I bought this along with another decorative theme. This one I put on my downstairs glass door, and it really makes the hallway light and pretty. It took about 20 to 30 minutes to put up. Very easy.

Used on window glass back lit with LED bulbs. Easy to cut to size with a sharp utility knife and steel rule I found application with glass cleaner better than using water If panels had slightly embossed patterns they might be even better. Overall I was pleased with this product
