A: I don't think it will stay due to the humidity , I used on my garage window, Uses water to stick to surface
A: It should if you apply it according to the directions and providing it gets no direct water. I have this and another pattern installed in 2 humid locations and so far no problems.
A: Artscape can be applied to any smooth and non textured surface. Once applied the film will hold up against the steam and spray of the shower.
A: Yes I believe it Will The one I Have in my Kitchen Before this New one Has Lasted 5 Years In Heat From the Sun The Oven & The Radiator. Very Private To!
A: We purchased this window covering for two locations in our home. Both were successful and easy to accomplish. 1. Pantry window above the door (smooth glass) It looks like a stained glass window and has been in place for 3 years..no issue. 2. The long (60" X 14") Front door window above our front door for the same reason also successful for 3 years. If you put your covering on the shower door, it must be smooth glass and on the outside of the actual shower as condensation will form on the inside and cause it to peel. Follow directions by cleaning the outside of the shower thoroughly and use Glass cleaner (alcohol based) on the surface before attaching the covering and using a squeegee to force out any bubbles, starting from the center. Trim with razor to get exact size if it's recessed. Best of luck!
A: No, but the seam was not noticeable on my sidelights.
A: Do they come in longer and wider sizes?
A: Thanks for your question. Without the exact measurements for the door window, I cannot answer. The film only comes in one size. I used mine on the glass panels of a bi-fold door. It used the full 36" length. I did have to trim the width. It would be nice if it did come in different sizes. I think a lot more customers would use. I'm very pleased with the way mine turned out. Saved me from having to replace the door or even the decorative glass panels which the older pattern wore off somehow. The film gives a great new look to the room. I hope this helps.
A: New Leaf is only offered in the 24x36 size. As long as you are matching a manufactured edge to another manufactured edge the seam is nicely hidden!
A: When I was in our local Home Depot store, I only found this item in the one size; 24 inches x 36 inches.
A: I don't thing it will work on texturd glass. It depends on the smooth surface to stay in place. I could be wrong but common sense tells me it needs a smooth surface to stick to.
A: We used ours on glass block window.
A: I don't know the texture of your glass.
A: I don't think so. The film adheres to the glass so getting it to lay flat on textured glass may be a problem, so I don't think it will stick well in the corners or along the edges.
A: No it should not be used on any car window
A: Artscape can be applied to any smooth non-textured surface so a sunroof would work....not sure if it would affect the opening of the sunroof though?
A: No. It's opaque.
