About This Product
Artscape is a thin translucent film that creates the look of stained and etched glass. They are easy to apply to any smooth glass surface without the use of adhesives and are easily removed if needed. Artscape can be trimmed and combined to fit any size window. The images have a repeating pattern both top to bottom and side to side and can be used both vertically and horizontally. Images can be seen from both sides of the window while providing privacy. They are the perfect decorative accent while still allowing natural light to enter the room.

Will film stick to painted surfaces?
Hello Denys, Thank you for interest in Artscape Window Film Rice Paper, Our films need to be applied to a completely clean, smooth, flat surface and recommended for use with windows as the product is made to be decorative while letting all the light in.
I’ve read that window films help to insulate from cold ( even if minimal) on single pane windows. Is there any experience with this?
Hi, Our Window Films are for decorative and privacy use only. There is no rating for insulation as it is a thin vinyl film.
What type of soap is best

Does it seam well if you need it for a larger window? And how does it hold up with adhering in exterior windows?
Hello, Thank you for your interest in Artscape Window Film. Yes, our film does tile together seamlessly both horizontally and vertically on the manufactured edges. Also, we recommend to install the film on the interior, but it will work on the outside as well.
I Installed this product today and looked great. There were no bubbles in the film. Tonight I looked at it again and now there are bubbles in the film. Is this part of the drying process? Should I smooth out the bubbles or leave it?
There should not be any bubbles after application. You can take the film down and reapply for up to two weeks after the paper backing was initially removed.
Does rice paper pattern have a top/bottom design or can it be turned for sideways application?
It can be placed horizontally or vertically. The pattern is not dependent on direction of placement.
Do you need buy any kits to put this on the window
No, a kit is not required but everything you need to install the film is included in the Artscape Window Film Application Kit.
Can it be used on a window in a tub/shower area
