This Shower Door should only be installed using the connection point to the studs or to pre-installed 2x6 wood reinforcements behind the wall. If you are using a pre-made Acrylic/ABS/FRP shower stall that will be thicker than average plus tile, then you must consider the offset of the pre-made panel thickness.

Hi Brooke - thanks for considering Aston for your remodel. The LANGHAM Completely Frameless Sliding Shower Collection is engineered for left or right hand installation. This means you can install it where the door slides from left-to-right or right-to-left. Please keep in mind the design's formatting of one (1) fixed glass panel, one (1) sliding glass panel remains consistent.

Yes, the installation on this kit requires you to drill into the tub.

Hi Jessica - thank you for your interest in Aston for your remodel. Regarding your green hue concerns in our tempered, frosted glass - that in unique scenarios, a slight green tint to some of our frosted glass models due to the inherit iron content (from the sand used to manufacture the glass). This can be most visible when looking at the glass from the edges. It also might appear if you have colors in your bathroom that are to green on the color spectrum.

Thank you for your question, yes this shower door does have 1/4" adjustability for out of plumb walls. Unfortunately there is not an option to add a towel bar to the stationary panel because the glass is tempered so you can not cut into it. Hi Michellelee - thanks for considering Aston for your remodel. The LANGHAM Frameless Tub Door's top bar hardware can be cut down up to 4", so the minimum 56" width [still] exceeds your current alcove measurements. The door model's height is 60" so it wouldn't work in that regard either.

Hi Shay - thank you for your interest in Aston and for your remodel. With the LANGHAM Completely Frameless Tub Door, the top rail is approximately 3.5" down from the top of the glass panels, so its about 56.5" high up from the glass. This would seem to be on the very fringe of your acrylic shower surround. Please note you must have at least 4" studs (6" preferred) behind your surround to successfully and securely install any Aston Frameless Shower. You are also required to drill into your tub's threshold too. Professional installation is highly recommended and in most cases, required - with at least two (2) adults taking part in the process.
