Double Extreme Grill Light with 2 Super Bright LED Lamps and Monster Clip

Bright and versatile despite it's overall clumsiness. I grill all year round and have been in need of a decent grill light for a long time. I was hoping this might be the answer, and it is, but I'm not sure I'd purchase it again if I had the chance. The light has two flexible bright LEDs and runs on batteries. That part works really well since you can have one light on your grill and one on your prep area. The batteries are in the handle of the grip of the clamp. It's a decent clamp and will stay in place for the most part. The clamp is supposed to be heat proof, but I haven't tested that yet. I didn't want to clamp this onto the edge of my burner, so I clamped it onto the handle, so that when I lift the lid of my grill the lights will be on the grill surface. It works ok but because the clamp is flat and the handle is round, there's some slippage each time I raise or lower the grill lid. The manufacturer's photos show it clamped onto the base of a kettle grill, but if you do that you'll have to bend the lights out of the way every time you want to put the lid on or take it off. This is why I called it clumsy. There still isn't a great way to have a clip on light that will make grilling easier. Overall though, I think this is a good shot at it, take a look at how you want to use it, and where you plan on clipping it and it may be the right option for you. It's been left out through a heavy rain (1" in a day) and a snowstorm and freezing temperatures and it still works without a flicker, so the quality seems pretty good.

I have cricked my neck so much by trying to hold a flashlight while cooking on the grills. These light are great. They clamp on to the grill at different points and the length of the light are long enough that you can place light where you need it and they are bright. With two lights you can just about see everything on the grill so easily. The single off/on switch is easy to use and easy to get to. The unit does require 4 batteries and that's not bad considering how bright the lights are. They are long enough and flexible which is a real plus when you are cooking on the grill. They are light weight and they can be moved from place to place with ease. The clamp is strong enough top hold it anywhere. It sure brought me out of the dark so I can see what I am cooking and not burnin!!

I got this grill light, for the grill of course, but I'll be using it for a lot more. The clamp is really strong, and is advertised to be heat resistance. You can mount the light to just about anything, and I can see it being more handy for under the hood of the car than under the hood of the grill. The LED lamps are really bright and the flexible goosenecks allow for great positioning. My only negative is it's a little bigger and heavier than I thought it would be, so it makes it a little awkward to store under, or in the grill when you're finished cooking.

This is a very well made lighting unit that, with it's two independently operated light sources, has a variety of uses outside of it's assumed role as a grill light. The clamp for attaching the light is large and strong and with the rubber grippers, will attach to almost anything you can get the clamp on. The 18inch long goose neck lights are firm and will not fall out of place when you set them, which makes them very good at providing good quality light at up to 180 degrees from each other. (i.e. top and bottom of the object you are working on) This is a very useful product when specialty lighting is needed.

This BBQ Dragon Extreme grill light is really bright. It has two separate heads with LED lights on flexible goosenecks. The handle/clip is supposed to be heat resistent. I wasn't able to test that part of the handle because I don't have any place to clip it on my grill. The handle is heavy enought that you can sit it on a shelf and adjust the headlights to shine where you need light. I clipped it on the inside roof of my BBQ cover. Brightest light I have ever had. I gave it a good rating because of the fact that I couldn't clip it on my grill. You can use this light in other ways besides grilling though.

The Double Extreme Grill Light can clamp on a variety of items. The clamp is strong and with the 4 soft pads on the clamping jaws, it will hold onto many different surfaces with varying thickness. The soft pads shown in the pictures are durable but are not heat resistant to the hot temps of a grill, so the rule of the finger is if you can't put your finger on the metal where you want to clamp the light to don’t. Need to find an area that is only warm to the touch or it's cool to the touch. The soft pad protects the surface your clamping to, to prevent marring of the paint or smooth surface.

The BBQ Dragon Extreme Grill Light is a pretty cool tool. It's too cold to BBQ now, but I found it very helpful in my messy shop. It is great to have a quick and easy solution to poor lighting. The large grip clip can hold onto many things for many applications. I have it on a sawhorse to help me visualize this woodwork. The 2 light arms can be focused independently which can help eliminate shadows and extend the light field. Each is indeed very bright, so I hope you can see how it looks as I have them aimed at two different types of boards. One simple easy on/off button to operate. What is not quite as intuitive is putting in the batteries for the first time. The instructions do not show a diagram of how the cap is supposed to open. That would have been helpful. Anyway, you press in the little tabs and push the cap totally away horizontally as opposed to flipping it upwards. I don't know how long it will last, but I definitely like this item so far.

I like how this makes grilling in the evening so much easier, especially since it gets so dark so early in the winter. It just clamps on to the grill, click the button for the lights, and that's it! The necks of the lamps are sturdy yet flexible, making it easy to point the light where you need it and make sure it stays there. But, I could see myself using this for any place where focused, hands-free light as needed; like automotive work, or I could clamp it to the back of my camping chair and use it for reading. A very well designed product.

Okay, I often find myself grilling after sunset. Usually because of daylight savings time change. This light looks like it would do the trick with two illuminated arms. It throws a good amount of light. The arms are infinitely adjustable. Uses 4 AA batteries and has a strong clamp. My grill proved to be a challenge as there aren't any flat edges to attach it to... The clamp is supposed to be heavy enough to serve as a weighted base and it does but then you have to tweak the the lamps as it will fall over or off. Overall not bad and pretty good if you can clamp it to the grill

This is a very attractive clip-on light. The LEDs should last for a very long time. The clamp is very sturdy in fact I had to use two hands to open it. The clamp jaws have rubber on them to prevent damaging whatever you clamp it to. The limit for clamping is probably about three quarters of an inch or an inch thick. I'd say that the optimum width you want to clamp this on is about half an inch; anything thicker than that the clamp gets a bit wobbly. I like that the goose necks can be aimed in any direction and it seems like it's very sturdy and will last for a long time.
