Yes, it is orange to black and white to white. My furnace is 20 years old and the motor was a perfect match.
The Wayne motor you reference is actually a shaded pole motor sold by Wayne Combustion but made by marathon. The Beckett motor you are asking about uses the modern PSC technology that is becoming standard. However I think you probably want to know if you can replace one with the other. Most of the times you can but without knowing what burner you have i can't be definitive.
Yes - This is the exact replacement for the old split phase start Beckett 2456 motor. The new motor is more energy efficient. I uploaded two photos of my boiler before and after the motor change out.
That is a very nice furnace, one of my favorites in fact. However that furnace was available with a variety of different burners. So the answer depends, not on the furnace but with what burner it was equipped. No the mode number does not tell me that. If it has a Beckett AFG burner this motor would be appropriate. However if it has a Riello brand burner the answer would be no.
