Q:What is “self-primer” ? Do I need a primer first? Guessing I need to prime myself? since the other ones are strictly labeled “paint + primer” ?

A:  Hi Jrb8, thank you for your question. Self-priming means that the paint includes a primer and does not require a separate primer. Have a great day! -Lina

Used to paint brick around fireplace. Surface and grout joints were rough and porous. Took 3 coats but was not fault of product. Paint was thick enough , had no runs and held on to brush and roller well.

          Beautiful Masonry Paint
The bluest gray masonry paint spread evenly throughout my sidewalk. It is a thick, shiny and beautiful appearance. Couldn’t ask for a better paint and color.

              Nice color
Little expensive but easy to apply and color change depending of light with a particular tonality.

                  White concrete block pier
I just finished building a concrete block pier for my telescope and I wanted a good seal to keep moisture from penetrating the blocks so I chose the Behr masonry paint in white which will help keep the pier from absorbing too much heat on a sunny day. I think this is going to work very well.

                  great coverage
we picked this paint to give new life to a tired old fire place. thick enough to cover great. use a rough surface roller and a good brush... not the cheapest and not the best ( Purdy, Wooster Pro ) because you will be throwing it away when your done.
