Not the same as polyacrylic
I was needing polyacrylic and I asked a store associate why they do not sell it and was informed that water-based polyurethane is the same thing and it will not yellow so I decided to try it. Once I opened it and realized it’s not a clear color but more of a cream color I knew not to even waste my time because it would turn my white woodwork yellow. The label even says crystal clear but that’s not far from crystal clear.

Good stuff for a table I finished. It stayed that it would cure in an hour and it did in the satin finish desired. I didn’t need a big can and this was the best solution. It wasn’t cheap but great results so it is worth the money.

Is not a durable finish...scratches easily
I refinished my dining room table with this poly. If you're going to use this on a surface that gets use, I do not recommend it. It scratches easily. In addition, it doesn't level out as well as other poly I've used.

Don’t use it.
I used this product for my brand new dinner table to protect from scratches but this item is messed up my table. Now it has so many scratches and looks so ugly.

Do not use over white/light color paints! :(
This poly-coating has a YELLOW tint, and it does NOT dry "clear"- it dries yellow, like a transparent honey color. It's been very disappointing, as I had to see the whole project through with this product in order to keep the color consistent. Yellowed the paint color that I paid big money for and so carefully picked out to match other items. :(.
I do NOT recommend this product.

Love this stuff. Worked well and drying time was quick. Used it for stairs and no issues thus far. used 3 coats. Will probably use it to coat a few cabinets as it dried clear, no yellowing, and has held up to heavy traffic.
