The BEHR DECKplus Semi-Transparent Waterproofing Wood Stain is a 100% acrylic stain for all wood types. This stain adds beauty while allowing the natural wood grain to show through. The stain also provides a durable, water-repellent finish that also protects against the sun's harmful UV rays.
- Ideal for wood decks, fences, siding and wood patio furniture
- For the best results, be sure to properly prepare the surface using the required preparation products as listed in the Use & Care Manual
- 100% acrylic latex formula provides excellent adhesion and forms a highly protective and durable finish
- Durable water repellent finish
- Mildew resistant finish
- UV protection against fading
- Can be applied in temperatures as low as 40 degrees Fahrenheit
- Formulated for use with a brush, roller or sprayer for easy application
- Coverage area: 1st coat 250-300 sq. ft., 2nd coat 500-600 sq. ft.; avoid applying finish too heavily two thin coats required

Used to renovate 25 year old deck made with pressure treated 2x4's and 2x6's. Spent the most time doing repairs (replacing rotted
planks, fixing up damaged areas using outdoor putty, etc). Then power-washing and sanding. Putting on the stain was the easy part.
Used 5" brush with long handle to avoid bending - application was easy and coverage was great. Was able to walk on deck after
30 minutes - which was very much appreciated by our dogs who are always eager to get outside. Coverage was great and even the
most worn down portions came out looking great. Great product and easy to use.

Mediocre
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product does resist water well but it’s ability to hold color and finish more than a month or so makes it undesirable for a long lasting look.
I find myself having to refresh my wood deck at least 3 or 4 times a year to keep it looking nice with this product. The finish goes dull within a months time..
In my opinion the only thing it does fairly well is resist moisture.

No Strain Stain
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After thoroughly prepping our 21 year-old pressure treated deck, it was time to restain again. Using a paint tray to contain and pad to apply, this product went on smoothly and evenly. After drying, the cedartone color was vibrant and the stain's semi-transparency allowed the wood's natural grain to add it's interesting character. Will definitely use again.

Great Colors
