- Use a high quality 3/8" - 1/2” nap roller cover, nylon/polyester brush or an airless sprayer (.015" - .019” spray tip, 60 mesh filter)
- Use BEHR MARQUEE paint as a primer for properly prepared uncoated or painted interior surfaces, including woods that contain tannins (two primer coats required for redwood and cedar) and heavily stained areas. For heavy stains, test for stain bleed-through by applying BEHR MARQUEE as a topcoat to a small section; if bleeding continues, a longer dry time is needed before top coating.
- Apply when air and surface temperatures are between 50-90° F (10-32° C). Longer dry time may be required in cooler temperatures and higher humidity

Do not buy. One coat Guarantee is not true.
Bought this paint on recommendation of Home Depot employee. Wanted white they recommended this. Seen the one coat Guarantee and was sold. After 4 coats and 4 gallons later you can still see cut in lines. I expected 2 coats over a dark color paint but having to do multiple coats over a white surface.

Hi there, thank you for your review. I'm very sorry to hear about the trouble you've experienced lately with our Marquee Paint. That is not the experience we want for our customers, and I can understand your disappointment. Our Marquee Paint should cover in one coat when tinted to a One-Coat Color and applied over a previously coated surface. From the pictures you provided, it also looks like the areas that were cut in are drying to a different coverage level. To fix the issues, I recommend letting the paint dry for 24 hours to the deeper layers dry and level out before recoating the surface. For areas where the cut-ins are visible, I recommend only coating the body of the wall and blending in with the edges for uniformity. Best Paint You Can Buy!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I recently completed a couple of accent walls in our home and used Behr Marquee, this product covers so well and goes on so smoothly, we were extremely impressed especially for the price. It seems very durable so far and the color vibrancy is more than anyone could ask for! The can it comes in is even great with the free pouring spout you get with the cans. Bravo!

Rate Behr marquee paint.
Just finished redoing a spare bedroom that was looking real ratty. One coat covered beautifully. The update is amazing. Going to tackle the other two bedrooms. Love the color.
Clean up was a breeze, Will certainly buy again.

Not one coat coverage
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this paint on two rooms. Used one coat on the first room and it didn’t hold up well. Paint was easily scratched away. Made sure to do a double coat with the next room I did as I already purchased all the paint.

Best paint on the DIY market
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I won’t buy any paint if it’s not Behr. This top of the line paint is perfect for covering previous coats, clean-up, drying time — you name it. I heard recently that Behr is planning to drop the easy-pour spout: that’s a big mistake. The spout is the best innovation in painting in twenty or more years. Don’t stop making it Behr!
