- Use a high quality 3/8" - 1/2” nap roller cover, nylon/polyester brush or an airless sprayer (.015" - .019” spray tip, 60 mesh filter)
- Use BEHR MARQUEE paint as a primer for properly prepared uncoated or painted interior surfaces, including woods that contain tannins (two primer coats required for redwood and cedar) and heavily stained areas. For heavy stains, test for stain bleed-through by applying BEHR MARQUEE as a topcoat to a small section; if bleeding continues, a longer dry time is needed before top coating.

What a let down this paint is. I painted over...
What a let down this paint is. I painted over 2 coats of primer on new drywall. Took up to 5 coats to cover. Used premium brushes and rollers Love the color white. But the worst paint for coverage in my 65 years. We used it on our entire interior and over months we still see areas we have to touch up again. I called about the guarantee to cover in one coat. They don’t cover the white paint. Ridiculous. Don’t waste your money.

meh... doesn't hide in "one coat"
I'll be returning my unopened 2nd gallon. I've been using Behr Marquee interior matte paint Ultra White to paint over a light blue room. Even with the "one coat guarantee" I figured it would take 2 coats and on a darker gray-blue wall 3 coats would even be expected. However, I painted the 2nd coat on one of the light blue walls and around some windows yesterday and the second coat is *still showing the light blue underneath it*. It's almost unbelievable to me that even though it's a fairly thick paint, that it gives such shoddy results. I will be purchasing paint from another store and manufacturer today to finish the job because I don't have endless time to paint this room let alone I don't want to injure myself by painting 5 or 6 coats. don't waste your money...

Does not do what it is guaranteed to do…
This is supposed to be one coat paint. I have had use at least 3-4 coats to get it done. It has taken me for days to paint a small 12x12 family room. And I still have to paint areas. The color is seeping through. Just terrible. A waste of money and time. Never had these issues with wherein Williams and valspar. I will not use behr again.

Disappointed tbh
I'm only giving one star because the color is a gorgeous vibrant forest green like I wanted, but as for the paint itself... it is awful. Not only is it thin, but it's already starting to peel off of my wall like wallpaper. I've never used this brand of paint before, so I didn't know what to expect, but it certainly wasn't 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴. I don't hold Home Depot at fault, I think it's just the paint... or the brand. Either way, as beautiful as this shade of green is, I won't be buying BEHR paint again.

Hard to work with
I bought this with the satin finish for painting a small room. The first coat did not apply evenly over my Zinsser primer so I had to spend another $50 to buy a second gallon. This stuff has to go on just right- too thick and it will leave rollers lines or drip, too thin and it leave behind a rough texture. It also dries really fast so don’t go back over anything more than 5 minutes old or you will get the rough texture again. I’ve never had these problems with other Behr paint.

Nothing BLUE about this BLOOD
Either they mixed it incorrectly or gave us a whole different color because this ended up being a super duper dark rich royal purple. I'm talking about PURPLE RAIN PRINCE PURPLE. As much as I LOVE the color purple , it was a huge disappointment. But, the paint went up anyway as we are inundated with house repairs and just don't have the time to go back n forth .

Not one coat
Painters are here painting WHIPPED MARSHMALLOW on dark sand walls and it doesn’t begin to cover in one coat. Much added expense for second coat. Very unhappy. Would not recommend.
