1 gal. #MQ3-20 Whipped Mint One-Coat Hide Eggshell Enamel Interior Paint & Primer

BEHR MARQUEE Interior Satin is a good quality paint. We really love the Whipped Mint (MQ3-20) color which is hard to describe but belongs to the Turquoises/Aquas family. The picture closest to actual color is the one I posted and marked "Actual Color" at the bottom left corner. It is slightly different from the generic pic on the home depot website. Keep in mind that your screen/monitor can also impact the color you see! We painted the hallway between our bedrooms using different size rollers and also a brush for those tight areas. Applying the paint is straight forward and it feels nice and thick. Application left no streaks or brush marks after the paint dried up. When applied, the color appears much lighter than expected, but it gets to its normal color after it dries. We had to do two coats so I don't necessarily agree with the one-coat claim in the product description. The color underneath was just the regular off-white you see in 90% of homes so I'm not sure how one can pull it off with one coat in any application. After the first coat dried up, we found out that coverage was not sufficient even when we were very consistent with the thickness and application process. The second coat was very easy and fast to apply. The first coat took just over 1 gallon but the second coat took half as much. We haven't tried cleaning using soap and water but that's definitely an advantage when you have kids! Hopefully this color will last for many years. It definitely gives a fresh feeling to open areas and works well with white trim & doors. I uploaded several pics of the finished paint job and also from the application process. The color varies due to lighting conditions and use of smartphone camera. I marked one of the pics "Actual Color" on the bottom left corner, which I think gives a good representation of the actual color in our application (on my screen at least!) Recommended.

We purchased our first home and I am not sure that the walls had ever been repainted since it was built in 2006. I’m blown away by how easy this paint was to apply, that there was no dripping or issues with flying drops, and the color is exactly what I thought it would be.
