- Graphic Charcoal is a deep gray with a blue undertone. Depending on the light source or time of day, it may appear as a charcoal gray on the walls.
- 1 quart high-performance coating cover up to 100 sq. ft. depending on color selected and surface porosity
- Use a high quality 3/8" - 1/2” nap roller cover, nylon/polyester brush or an airless sprayer (.015" - .019” spray tip, 60 mesh filter)
- Use BEHR MARQUEE paint as a primer for properly prepared uncoated or painted interior surfaces, including woods that contain tannins (two primer coats required for redwood and cedar) and heavily stained areas. For heavy stains, test for stain bleed-through by applying BEHR MARQUEE as a topcoat to a small section; if bleeding continues, a longer dry time is needed before top coating.

Came out looking more blue than grey
Good quality paint. Covers nicely and limits drip marks. After two coats, it came out looking more blue than in the pictures or the color swatch.

Excellent Paint
The Behr Dynasty semi-gloss stain-blocking paint and primer is a great paint for you interior needs. A paint and primer in one, it makes updating your walls quick and easy. One gallon covers 400 sq. ft. and dries in an hours. If more than one coat is needed 2 hours between coats is recommended. Paint comes with a combo pour spout and cap tool which makes opening the gallon, loading your paint trays and cleaning up a breeze. I went with the graphic charcoal which is a beautiful dark color, but if you have it shipped, be sure to bring it to your local Home Depot to have it remixed.

Quality paint, better can & lid, limited finishes
This paint does cover dark colors fully with just one coat. The surface is quite tough. I can abuse it like crazy with no affect.
But what I like best about it is the new gallon lid design and all plastic can. Finally, no more rust ruining stored paint!
The lid has a small hole with its own screw cap and screw-on spout. I love that! The spout has notches in the narrow opening/top that fit over the small cap’s handle to provide leverage to open the tight or stuck cap. For trim work, you can open the full lid to stir, but then close that and open the small hole to insert the brush. It fits up to a 2 in. brush and keeps the paint from drying out too much. Screw on the spout and it provides cleaner pouring into a roller tray. The spout top is also a great raised rest for a brush or stirrer.
I ordered semi-gloss but got matte so can’t use it for the cabinet I’d planned so painted a sample for review. The ‘graphic charcoal’ color is exactly like the picture online- a dark, cool gray with blue undertones.
Matte finish has a slight sheen- less than eggshell but NOT FLAT- just enough to show any imperfections in the brush or roller stroke. True flat paint is much better for amateur painters and walls that are any less than flawless (most!). Just know that. It is extremely unfortunate that DYNASTY paint is NOT AVAILABLE IN FLAT or (full) GLOSS finishes. For that I drop a star!

Loved it! Great paint.
I love the smooth matte finish. When its dirty it will be easy to clean without the sheen. It applied well and was thick enough to avoid drips. I probably could have gotten one coat coverage if I had better lighting. The coverage was surprising and I still have a substantial amount left over, time to find more things to paint!
The brush strokes leveled out and smoothed well. Wet paper towel cleaned up spills easily and the brush cleaned out easily also. There weren't any fumes or bad odors with this paint and it has held up to dog paws and traffic pretty well so far.

Nice Color Paint
This Behr Dynasty 1 gal. Graphic Charcoal One Coat Hide Eggshell Enamel Interior Stain-Blocking Paint & Primer is going to look nice on my walls in my living room. I’m glad it’s the paint & primer together so I only have to use one coat. Very nice color eggshell like a light brown. Directions are easy to read and understand how to use it. I can’t wait to see how it’s going to look on my walls.

Quality product
I was looking for something to cover the ugly color in my basement while giving the space a more industrial look. The Behr Dynasty stain blocking paint and primer did the easily did the job. I am very happy with the final result of the graphic charcoal color. However, I did need to hit some areas with a second coat just due to how poor of a job had been done in the past and the damage of prior owners. Overall the paint and primer works very well and as advertised.

Bold Color
I love accent walls in a house, They draw the eyes to that wall and are meant to make a Huge statement in the house, that's why this BEHR DYNASTY, Graphic Charcoal in the 1 gallon can was a perfect fit for the upstairs bedroom, I even did the stairs !! This is a one-coat, Hide Matte interior stain blocking paint and primer and really does cover in one coat !! It's easy to apply with a roller or brush low odor and adds a bold beautiful look to any room in your house !!

BEHR Dynasty-Graphic Charcoal Matte interior paint
The BEHR Dynasty graphic charcoal paint. I choose this item because I’ve used BEHR products before and get great results. This paint however is I feel there best yet. Just like it says it goes on in one coat. So it’s a primer and paint all in one. I love also that it has a fast dry time which works out great for small projects. I also love the color which goes with a lot of our interior the graphic charcoal in a matte finish it’s a nice look and yet more modern. The paint itself is durable,stain repellent and scuff resistant. As you can see in these photos one coat on unfinished wood and it turned out great.
