About This Product
Use BEHR PREMIUM Floor Coatings Acrylic Latex Porch and Floor Paint for painting basements, porches, floors, decks and patios and for a variety of other indoor and outdoor projects to enhance slip resistance. This texturized Low-Lustre acrylic latex paint is resistant to UV damage, scuffing, fading, cracking and peeling, and it offers improved hiding properties to provide efficient coverage. Cleans easily with warm, soapy water.

- We recommend applying this product when the air temperature is 50°F - 90°F, this is the ideal weather condition to ensure proper adhesion
- Recoat in 4 hours to 6 hours
- Use a high quality 3/8 in. nap roller cover, nylon/polyester brush or a texture sprayer capable of 1.0 GPM with a 3 mm tip, for smooth surfaces, use a 1/4 in. nap roller, do not use with airless sprayer, do not use on areas subject to automotive tires or hydrostatic pressure
- For interior wood, use a product such as BEHR PREMIUM number 75 all-in-one primer and sealer, for exterior wood, use a product such as BEHR PREMIUM number 436 multi-surface primer and sealer, for interior/exterior concrete or masonry, over uncoated surfaces, use a product such as BEHR PREMIUM number 880 concrete and masonry bonding primer

Questions & Answers
The project is to paint a new shed floor in an effort to help preserve the floor. The plywood is new and untreated… not PT. Is the the right paint for the project? In addition ther is a small non-PT ramp that outside can I use this paint there as well?

Can this be put over an intumescent coating that acts as a fire retardant on wood?
Hi VReg, thank you for your question. As it turns out, we wouldn’t recommend applying our coatings over an intumescent coating, as we haven’t tested it and are unsure if it will perform as expected. Can this be used on vinyl siding, which expands and contracts?

Before application, scuff sand glossy/smooth surfaces and ensure the surface is clean. You also want to select a color that is similar to or lighter than the vinyl to avoid warping.
