Big Mistake!
I have painted most of my life. Houses, inside & out. Cars. You name it, I can paint it. I should have read reviews before purchasing this Behr product. Came out of the can like jello pudding. Went on worse. Cured for a week. Still left impressions when walking on. Bubbling up in spots. COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME & MONEY. I give this product an F Grade

Thank you for reviewing our product. I'm very sorry to hear about the issues you ran into with our 1-Part Epoxy. This product should have an even creamy consistency (similar to a blended smoothie) and cures in 7 days, so I'm concerned that this happened and that the epoxy bubbled. To fix the coating, I recommend gently cleaning the surface with soap and water to stop the impressions. As for the bubbling, I recommend removing any loose coating and etching the bare concrete if it feels smoother than 150-grit sandpaper. Make sure the surface is clean and dry before priming the bare areas with our Concrete Bonding Primer and touching up the spots. If needed for uniformity, you can apply a thin coat over the full surface. Not happy with all the time and money in this product, not only did it peel once, I reapplied and it did again, I done!

Hi there, thank you for reviewing our paint. I’m sorry that you’ve had an issue with the 1-Part Epoxy peeling twice. This is not typical, and I can understand your disappointment. I recommend removing the loose coating by either power washing or sanding, then etching the bare concrete. After the floor is etched and clean apply our Concrete & Masonry Bonding Primer and then re-applying the 1-Part Epoxy Concrete & Garage Floor Paint. not up to behr's standards
used this product based on past experience with behr's paint. My wife use to work
for Behr store years ago. Followed directions to the letter. Walked into garage today, two months after application, and product was peeling under tire marks. Garage floor was professionally ground, cleaned and etched. Not good advertisement for Behr after all the success we have had over the years with Behr products. Would not recommend this product.

Thanks for taking the time to review our Concrete & Garage 1-Part Epoxy. I'm sorry to hear about the peeling under your tires, but please know I'm here to help.
To fix this, I recommend removing the peeling areas and sanding the edges smooth with 180-grit sandpaper. Then, clean and etch any bare concrete with muriatic acid until it feels like 150-grit sandpaper. Finally, you can spot prime with our Concrete Bonding Primer No. 880 (for additional adhesion) and touch up with leftover paint.

Hot tire pickups
We applied this epoxy paint following the instruction one month ago. We waited the entire month, however the first time we parked our car inside, it left hot tire pick-ups. Very disappointed, and i want to know the best way to repair it, without redoing everything. Can I just touch it up? Will applying a top clear coating be helpful with adhesion? If so, what kind of top clear coating should I use?

Hi EricZ, thank you for your review. I'm so sorry the paint pulled up under the tires. To repair this, I recommend removing any loose paint, etching the bare concrete spots, spot priming with our Concrete & Masonry Bonding Primer No. 880 to help with adhesion in those areas, then touching up with paint. Also, an additional topcoat isn't required over this paint. But if you prefer to add a clear sealer, you could use our Wet-Look Sealer or our Low-Lustre Sealer. Works OK on Garage, Exterior could be better
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this product for my garage floor and concrete break wall surface 1 year ago. The garage floor has held up well , other than hot tire parking spots lifting. However, the concrete exterior break wall has cracked & peeled up in approximately 40% of the surface area. I have used this product in the past (~5 years ago) with better results. The surface was prepped the area per recommendations. I am will see if BEHR will warrantee this product & update my review accordingly.

Easy to use!!

Bad cans
I brought 3 cans to do my garage floor 1can fine next can watery. Took back to Home Depot the lady asked what was wrong I explained. Got another can painted 2 coats dried light n dark same can, applied coat at the same time. Next can dry with bubbles n it. Now I don’t know what to do

Hi Frog7527, thank you for your review. I'm so sorry one can was watery, and the other cans didn't look like the same color and started to bubble. I recommend letting the paint dry, sanding off any bubbling paint, spot etching the bare concrete spots, and letting the surface fully dry to prep the garage floor again. Then I recommend spot priming those areas with our Concrete & Masonry Bonding Primer No. 880 to help with adhesion, touching up with paint, and recoating across the surface for uniformity. Before recoating, I suggest mixing cans of the same color together in a larger container to help keep the color uniform during application, as the color from can to can could vary just slightly. Disappointed
Working on the basement I chose Behr for my previous experience with the wall paints. Having 2 year old concrete around the perimeter from drainage install I wanted an even color throughout. Used the Behr primer expecting the best results. Top coat took 2 days to dry in the high humidity at the time. The bleed through was not evident during top coat application. Wife and I have decided to sell the house so I’m not going to do anything further. But, if we were staying I would seek out a different product to apply.
