Redoing the stain on our wrap around covered porch
We have lived here for 17 years and this is the second time we have stained this porch. We prepped by pressure washing with the product available at Home Depot in the bright green bottle. Next morning started, painters taped columns and the siding, then started staining one person using brushes for edges, cracks and knots in the the wood; followed by and person rolling (used nap suggested in video). This product covered amazing, went on easily, and the color is exactly as described. The following morning we put on a second coat.

Revitalized an old side porch
I bought a home with a side porch that need painted. Didn’t know whether paint or stain was on the wood or both. It had quite a few layers. I rough sanded and cleaned the porch before applying. This stain was like paint and seems to be good. Time will tell.

Nice stain and a common color for slat fencing.
Purchased to rebuild our side gate. Looks great and dried quickly. I have a ton leftover for going around the neighborhood and seeing if anyone else might want to pay me to do theirs, lol. The gallon was way too much but it was that or several small cans, so the economical choice was the gallon, but man it's expensive for paint period now...

Peeling after 1 year
Product claims to be good for 6 years on horizontal surfaces, our hand rail which sees zero use started peeling after 1 year and now at 2 years there are several spots that are peeling up. Will need to refinish. Complete waist of time and money, will NOT recommend to anyone. Also this product is not semi-transparent, can not see the actual wood at all, essentially just painted it all which was not desired.

I recommend removing the coating, cleaning the surface with the All-In-One Wood Cleaner, and touching up or recoating as needed. Good Coverage / Shows Dirt
We just applied this to our deck a couple weeks ago, so we cannot attest to the longevity of the product yet. But it applied nicely, evenly and looks great. It rained a bit a few days after application and it held up great. It has also held up nicely to our patio furniture- no scratching or anything when you move a chair on the surface.
The biggest disappointment is how obvious dirt is on this color. Consider a different color if you have dirt areas in your yard or pets.

Applied this to our pergola which was originally stained with...
Applied this to our pergola which was originally stained with a semi-transparent stain. Since we couldn’t get any info on what was used for the original stain we went back and forth on different brands and colors. We are very happy with the way this stain worked out for our project. We did not strip or sand the wood before staining, just brush cleaned the entire pergola before applying. Our pergola is redwood and while the color sample of the stain may not have matched the the actual application or the previous stain, we loved the way it came out. You can see before and after boards in the image provided. We applied a single coat -and pretty thickly to make sure we got the stain into all of the crevices.
