Color is beautiful. Used to finish our hand made picnic table and the result was better than we expected. Will be enjoying our table for years to come and it looks double the cost of what we actually have invested in this weekend project. To achieve the color we wanted we did a total of 3 coats, and let it cure for 3 days prior to taking outside.

Seems good
This was pretty easy to apply. Took two hours with two of us working on our new gate, to get the first coat on. The second coat took half the time. Our regular pressure treated wood gate now looks like a cedar gate. Very pleased. Hope it holds up for a few years.

The Behr Transparent Waterproofing wood finish leaves a beautiful final product, IF you apply several coats of the product. I used it on two projects.
A cedar doormat that I made from cedar 2X2's that I sanded smooth with a belt sander. It required four coats of the Behr finish for the desired lustre I was looking for.
My pressure treated fence has been completed for about a year so the wood was well seasoned. I wanted to test the Behr product and see if this was going to work here. I applied one coat using both a rag and a brush. While the end result is pretty, I would have to apply at least another coat for any color to show. I think I'll try something else.

Excellent for my new fence.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed a new fence. Once it was completed, I asked the builder to recommend a protective coating and he recommended BEHR Premium(R) Finish. I was able to spray it on very easily. It covers well and makes the cedar look even more attractive. It dried quickly and left a perfect finish. After 6 months, the fence looks exactly as it did when new. I was completely happy with my experience with this product.
