Multiple coats
this paint requires multiple coats due to the primer mixed with the paint . the old paint without primer was the best.

Worst paint I’ve ever used
I’ve been using the Behr Premium Plus Ultra for many years and I love it. This time I thought I would try the higher quality and it was a huge mistake. The marquee either has to go on so thin that it doesn’t cover or if you put it on thick enough to cover, it drips and sags. In more than 20 years I’ve never struggled with paint like this. I just got back from Home Depot with a second gallon of this stuff just to put a second coat on my daughters bedroom because 1 can didn’t cover.

This paint color looks more pink then mild violet which is what I was going for. It did turn out nicely though. The color will grow on me.

Glass came off
I bought a quart of this paint to refinish my front door. I sanded the wood door, primed and sealed it. Painted the outside surface waiting the 3 hours between the 2 coats. I then gave it 5 days to fully dry before sitting it on padded sawhorses to paint the other side. When I picked it back up off the sawhorses the finish glass had come off where it was sitting on the pads. After 5 days that should not have happened. Now I have to spend more money due to this paint being terrible.

I love this color so much. I put it on...
I love this color so much. I put it on the wall in a high gloss finish. Doing this takes 2 coats even being a one coat paint. My house is very dark so the extra gloss brightens it so much more.

Best paint ever
Best exterior paint I have ever used. Covered beautifully over some sketchy paint in one even coat. Looks fantastic. I need a little more to finish a few places I forgot. What would work well in a quart-size since I don't see this in a quart?

Aside from the horrid smell, the supposed satin finish is no less than semi-gloss. And don’t expect a one coat coverage, it’s not happening. I’ve had issues with behr paint before and said I wouldn’t buy again. It was convenient and I repeated my stupidity and no surprise, disappointed again…

Avoid!!
THE WORST PAINT I've ever used. I initially tried the semi gloss finish. After multiple issues with finish inconsistencies and texture, I switched to the satin finish. However, the nightmare continued. I used an entire quart of paint on 4 chair seats with horrible results. I sanded, primed, and painted multiple times all with varying poor results. Decided to buy Rustoleum Chalked paint instead. 1 coat of paint, 1 coat of poly, and done!
