BEHR PREMIUM PLUS Exterior Paint & Primer is a 100% Acrylic, low VOC formula designed for a long-lasting finish that resists moisture, fading & stains and provides a mildew and corrosion resistant finish. It delivers exceptional hide and excellent touch-up while also providing comprehensive all-climate protection. PREMIUM PLUS is highly ranked by independent 3rd party labs and meets LEED and GREENGUARD GOLD requirements.
  • Ideal for wood, vinyl and fiber cement sidings; stucco, brick, masonry and fences
  • Satin Enamel sheen offers a soft, pearl-like appearance
  • 1 quart covers up to 100 sq. ft. depending on application and surface porosity
  • On semi-smooth surfaces, use a high quality 3/8 in. - 1/2 in. nap roller cover, nylon/polyester brush or an airless sprayer 0.015 in. - 0.021 in. spray tip and 60 mesh filter; on rough surfaces, use a high quality 3/4 in. - 1 in. nap roller cover
  • Use BEHR PREMIUM PLUS Paint as a primer over properly prepared coated or uncoated surfaces. For stain-blocking, painting over woods with tannins, or over oil-based or glossy surfaces, prime with a product such as BEHR Interior/Exterior Multi-Surface Primer & Sealer No. 436
  • Apply product on dry substrates when air and surface temperatures are between 35°F-90°F and will remain between 35°F-90°F for at least 4 hours after applying

Q:Can this be used on an outdoor metal gazebo?

A:  Hi Petal, thank you for your question. Our Premium Plus Paint can be used on a metal gazebo, however, we recommend priming the metal first. You can use the Multi-Surface Primer and Sealer No. 436 before painting. Good luck with your project! -Giovanna

    Q:I need to paint an exterior door and the manufacturer recommends using a paint with a good blocking resistance. Does the Behr Premium Plus provide that? I don't see that feature in the description?

    A:  Hi Blocking, thank you for your question. The Premium Plus Paint is not designed to have good blocking resistance. Instead, you'll want to use the Cabinet, Door, and Trim Paint. This paint is designed to dry fast so that doors don't stick after 2 hours. Good luck with your project! -Giovanna

        A:  Hi Naveen, thank you for your question. As it turns out, the Premium Plus Exterior Paint is not recommended for stairs or areas that will be walked on. Instead, I recommend using our Interior/Exterior Porch and Patio Anti-Slip Floor Paint. Have a great day! - Randy

              We got this to paint our ceilings. Many say not to use gloss paint on ceilings, but we have a major dust problem from dust falling from our ceilings. This high gloss seals the drywall, and cuts down on dust considerably. It really looks great compared to our old paint!
