This coating is not a self-priming paint, so before applying it, I would suggest priming your metal surface with our Behr Multi-Surface Stain-Blocking Primer & Sealer No. 436. The Worst Behr Paint in Existence

Complete utter garbage. There should not be a lot of thought put into repainting a white primed ceiling. However this Behr i100 paint was absolute junk. It was thin but also had some sort of bubbly consistency, like a melted Wendy's Frosty. The application was horrible. And even rolling at super slow speeds, there were splatter marks EVERYWHERE, like little droplets as if it were sprayed on. I now have to redo the entire ceiling. This is ridiculous.

I was not very satisfied with this paint. The coverage was below expectations, and I had to apply three coats to achieve a proper finish. The consistency is thinner than normal, which made the application more difficult and time-consuming than expected. Overall, it required more effort than it should have, and I expected better performance for an interior paint at this level.

Great paint for the money

For about $25 per gallon this paint is more than adequate for residential use. I was quoted about $60 per gallon for the Sherwin Williams equivalent. I’m sure that was a nicer paint but I $1800 in finish paint plus a few hundred for PVA was absurd. I got my entire house done for right about $1000 including PVA. I had enough money leftover for a graco light duty commercial sprayer for about $450! It ran the paint great. Whenever I buy a 2nd house I will be using this again.

Disappointed With Behr For This Particular Paint

I’m Surprised and Very Disappointed With Behr For This Particular Paint, I’m 5 coats in and to no avail this paint has done nothing of a difference to my ceiling and I used this Behr White paint to cover over previous white colored paint, this makes no sense that this very well used to be trusted Brand Behr would still have this product on the market. They definitely has to know this product is no good and a great waste to the consumers, Do Not Buy This Particular Paint, you’ll be wasting money
