    Answer This Question

A:  Hi GHCx, thanks for your question. Our Frost (57) does not match Kelly Moore's Frost color exactly. They may be similar, so I'd recommend checking them both out in person to see the differences. Have a great day! -Christina

Q:I bought a 5 gallon bucket of the Behr i300, I used the white color it came with, but it doesn't have primer in it and it takes at least 3 coats, it is very thin and it smells very strong, which one do recommend that is the same color and 0 VOC ?

      Answer This Question

A:  Hi SonBen, thanks for the question, I'm sorry to hear that the paint isn't covering as expected and has a strong smell. For a 0 VOC paint & primer in one, I'd recommend using our Premium Plus Paint & Primer in One. It can be mixed into the color White 52. Moongaze color dries yellowish
The paint has great coverage and only needs one coat. Low odor and VOCs is also very important to me. I am not happy with the color at all. The swatch at the store is more beige and we matched it to the current paint. However, this dried yellowish and I have to repaint the entire room.

A very expensive mistake buying behr paint
Painted my livingroom with the "best" paint out there. Crazy expensive and very poor coverage. It took 4x the usual amount to paint my livingroom at $90/gal Then a week later I hung some stuff on the wall using the command hooks, like I have done for years only to wake up the next morning and they fell off the walls and took big gobs of the paint with it. Why did the primer stay but not the behr paint? Is it so they can suck another $90 outta me? Don't waste your money

            Response from BehrAug 22, 2023
Hi Vinn2, thank you for your question. I'm sorry to hear about the paint coming off your wall. That is not typical, and I can understand your frustration. To fix the issue, I recommend removing any loose coating and touching up the area. If needed, apply a thin coat for uniformity. The paint needs about 14 days to cure and dry to proper hardness and durability. Please note that high humidity can slow down the dry time. In general, it's best to allow paint to fully cure before hanging anything on the surface to avoid touch-ups. In any case, customer satisfaction is important to us, and we appreciate your feedback. I had the paint color matched pale pink and light blue. When I opened the paint both cans had a bunch of stuff floating in them. It looked a bit like fibers but some were round. I contacted the store and they suggested I return it. Tomorrow I will make the 2 hour round trip to return the paint.

              More dark purple than pictures
The academy purple has more grey in pictures than the product. It's gorgeous just the same and I am happy with it, but it's a little less spa toned and a lot more vibrant. I had someone else collect the paint and put it up,so didn't see it til it was done, so if you really want it grey, recommend looking closely at it after it's tinted. I'm a fan of purple so I like it, but it's a different look. Picture attached.

                  Elegant!
I’m super impressed with the color quality of this paint! I’m a fairly inexperienced painter and newer home owner. I typically buy from the Home Depot, and I currently trying to do small improvements on a relatively low budget. I would say if you are reading this and questioning whether this is a good product, don’t heistate. However, I would recommend doing three coats. It helps the pigment greatly to apply more than 2. The end results are well worth it especially if you are changing wall colors. If you don’t have the time or patience, I would recommend the higher end Behr brands. Hope this is helpful!

Only used 1 coat, but prev. coat was a lite grey
Used once coat on my entire house. Very much a blue-grey. It did drip a lot but it covered well.
