will behr premium advance deck paint cove up the grain look or will it still be there?

I am scraping and removing this Deckover deck coating from previous application. Is there an easier way to do this? How do I prep my existing stained deck to apply a new color of the Deckover stain??
Hi Kay, thanks for the question. The best way to remove the Advanced Deckover is by scraping, sanding or power washing at a low level. Keep In mind, if your applying a another coat to refresh or change the color of your deck, the coating doesn't have to be completely removed. Is the smooth and textured the exact same color? Asking because I have some areas where I would like to use textured and some where I would like to use smooth but want a uniformed color.

Can you use this over Trex decking??
Ronald is only half right. It can be applied over older Trex but not the newer stuff. Nothing adheres to it
