Hi Melani, thanks for your question. Our Advanced DeckOver has a thick, textured finish that can sometimes cover the wood grains. If you want a product that will still show wood grains, I recommend our Premium Solid Color Stain & Sealer instead. Have a great day! -Christina
Hi Kay, thanks for the question. The best way to remove the Advanced Deckover is by scraping, sanding or power washing at a low level. Keep In mind, if your applying a another coat to refresh or change the color of your deck, the coating doesn't have to be completely removed. Ronald is only half right. It can be applied over older Trex but not the newer stuff. Nothing adheres to it
