Use BEHR ULTRA SCUFF DEFENSE Paint as a primer for properly prepared uncoated or painted interior surfaces, including woods that contain tannins (2 primer coats required for redwood and cedar) and heavily stained areas
Lock in stains with BEHR ULTRA SCUFF DEFENSE Paint as a spot primer, for heavy stains, test for stain bleed-through by applying BEHR ULTRA SCUFF DEFENSE Paint to a small section, if stain bleeds through, spot prime another coat to the stained area and test again before top coating, if bleeding continues, a longer dry time is needed before top coating
Apply when air and surface temperatures are between 50°F-90°F (10°C-32°C), darker colors may require additional dry time between coats, cooler temperatures or higher humidity may prolong drying time

After 2 months the paint has started to peel! This happened to me with the cheaper regular behr paint and that is why this time I decided to get the “high end” version. I have to repaint again my walls!

Hi Lulu, thank you for your review. I'm sorry to hear about the peeling. This is not normal, and I understand your disappointment. I recommend sanding the loose coating off (this will also roughen up the surface and promote adhesion), and touching up. Customer satisfaction is important to us, and we appreciate your feedback. Please reach out to us directly if you need further assistance; our customer care team is happy to help you! -Giovanna

DO NOT USE FOR CABINETS
This paint will stick to anything you put on top of it for WEEKS after. We did 3 coats, let the final one dry for over 24 hours, and then put our cabinet shelves back. Everything stuck (see pics) and we had to do 2 more coats.

Great exterior paint
Used on metal window headers. Headers were rusting badly, so i sanded and primed and then painted.
Very nice smooth application.
Made the job fast and easy. Would recommend.

Worst paint we ever used. Painted many times. Primed the room, cleaned the walls and then we started painted one roll up, one roll down to go over little missed spots and half the pain comes down and clumps on. Painting slower pulls the paint up...

Hi NeveragainDynasty - Thank you for your review. I'm sorry to hear that the paint was clumping and pulling up during application! To fix the finish, I recommend allowing your last coat to dry for at least 24 hours before lightly sanding off any unwanted texture from the surface. Once the clumps are sanded off and the surface is wiped down, a new coat can be applied for a uniform finish. If the paint seems to be drying too fast as you're rolling it on, 4 oz. of water per gallon can be added to slow down the dry time. For further assistance with your project, please feel free to reach out to us directly. We'd be happy to help. - Sara

NOT a one coat guarantee!
This is an overpriced paint! Supposedly it’s a one coat guarantee and it’s supposed to be able to withstand cleaning. I wiped up a scuff and the paint came off on my rag. The paint had been placed a week before. It also is not a one coat guarantee. I painted over a white with a slight blue hue and it required three coats.

Hi L Martinez - Thank you for your review. I'm sorry to hear that you needed to apply 3 coats for full coverage and the paint came off when you cleaned the surface. Our Marquee paint line was designed to cover your previously painted or primed surfaces when tinted to a color from our One-Coat Color palette. Once fully cured (this takes 4 weeks), it can be easily wiped down to maintain a clean finish. For further assistance with your project, please feel free to reach out to us directly. We'd be happy to help. - Sara
