Lift-Off Round Closed Front Toilet Seat in White

Installation was easy. I really like the product. However two days after installation my seat has a crack in it! I will see if I can return it and get a refund. Not sure if I’ll purchase this again?

Comfortable and Sturdy! I highly recommend this toilet seat if you are looking for one. I was able to get a perfect color match. The quality is sturdy and excellent. VERY smart design, which totally changes how the seat is: 1. Installed 2. Removed 3. Cleaned With other products, you place the seat in place, then install the screws into the bolt, which is underneath. With this product, you do not first place the seat on the toilet. You first install the screw into the bolt. THEN, you place the seat on top of the lugs on the screws, so that you can always just completely take the seat off for future cleaning, without having to remove the screws, Very smart. And, the bolt stays in place when you're screwing the screw into the bolt, by having a wing on the bolt that keeps the bolt in place so you don't have to hold it with your other hand. Good sturdy wood, nice design, nice weight to it. Highly recommend!!

1st seat broke, clean through, top to bottom, at 3 o’clock (location using analog clock when facing the tank). PRO: Easy unlock, pop-off, pop-on, lock to existing hardware. CON: Design only has 1-pr of ‘feet’ which allows significant flexing. 2-pr of ‘feet’ more appropriately spaced might mitigate this failure mode. CONCLUSION: If 2nd seat breaks, I’ll spend more for better ‘feet’.

One of the first things I do when moving into a new house or home is I install a new Bemis Lift-Off toilet seat or two. It's been a ritual of mine for many years now because I've rarely stayed in the same location for more than a few years. I like to travel and often relocate. I have purchased many Bemis "Lift-Off" toilet seats over the years - at least a dozen if not more. I like them! They're fast and easy to replace. The hinges are good and strong, the finish is shiny, clean looking and they're not expensive to purchase (so far). The only negative I find regarding these toilet seats is you have to clean them using something mild. If not, the shiny finish won't last too long so beware of that. As to myself I never use spray cleaner on my toilet seats. I usually use water and sanitary wipes that have no alcohol to keep the toilet seat clean and shiny like new. If I ever stain or damage one by accident I simply replace it! I sometimes keep a spare in the closet. These Bemis Lift-Off toilet seats have been hard to find sometimes in stores, much easier online, but you never know how long they'll be available? Whenever I find something I like that looks good, works for me, is good quality and inexpensive I like to buy more than one! I hope Bemis continues to offer their line of "Lift-Off" toilet seats w/ matching hinges for years to come! As long as I can find them and the price is reasonable I will always buy them and recommend them to friends.
