Nope!
We have the NextStep seat. Aside from the fact that the paint on the wood seat rubbed off after a couple months of our toddler using it, the magnet that holds the kid seat in place is gone. I don't know if it fell in the toilet and got flushed or someone ate it. The plastic that holds it in place is gone as well, appearing to have broken off. This is a serious design flaw especially when this product is marketed to families with young children who are prone to putting things in their mouth, and choking. I do not recommend this product.

Hinge broke
The hinge broke after having it about 10 months. Great for kids until it breaks. Tried looking for replacement parts and I can't find it.

Where thou our magnet ?
Bought this new seat for our half bathroom that is used quite often in our house. We wanted something that didn’t slam for our 2.5 and 4.5 year old boys since the bathroom is literally in the middle of all the main rooms downstairs (living room, kitchen, dining room). Only have had it installed 6 months and we lost the magnet that holds up the toddler seat? Where did it go? No one knows... assuming it fell into the toilet during toddler use and flushed away it went. Now it’s just super annoying that the toddler seat slams when closing the lid or you having to pick up the small seat each time.

DO NOT BUY! Terrible Quality!
I have never had a toilet seat EVER break! My young son almost fell into the toilet! The plastic hinges broke right off! Do not buy!

Will break, trust me.
I'm on my second one,which is now busted. First one broke within 10 months and rep at Home Depot gave me a hard time even attempting to honor the warranty. Finally she relented and now its replacement is busted within another 11 months. Quality is not there, should be half the price of what it is. Sorry Bemis, no mas

Good child seat but bad magnet
We got this seat when training our 2 yr old a little over a year ago. Works great but have 1 issue. The magnet that holds the kids seat is rusting and leaving a stain on the child seat. In a semi-wet spot such as a toilet seat, it shouldn't rust. Maybe it should be built and sealed into the cover rather than exposed?
And now it has fallen out. The hole it was in is a mess. I would clean it out and glue it back in but not sure I want to do that with a rusty magnet.
Other than that, it works great and would get 5 stars.

Broken after 2 years
We've had this toilet seat for about 2 years and during that time it served us well. Today the larger seat completely severed from where it attaches to the joint. Never seen anything like this.
I do not recommend buying this item due to the poor quality. The warranty appears to only be 1 year. There is a competing product for sale at Home Depot that sells for less and comes with a 3 year warranty.

The toilet seat was very easy to install and I liked the features with it (being able to use it with or without the child seat insert, magnetic close to keep the child insert attached to the lid, and the slow close feature). However, after only a few months of using it, the hinge cracked and the lid will no longer close properly. Since it won’t close properly, it also causes the child seat insert to disconnect from the hinge and often makes a loud noise as the insert catches the magnet when the lid closes. Very disappointed in what I thought would be a great investment for potty training our toddler.

Broken Seat Hinge
I liked the slow close feature and the built in child seat was great for my grandson. Disappointed that the hinge broke in less than a year, always had high regards for Bemis products both at home and at work. Hopefully I can find a replacement part.

Fine for a while but ultimately broke
The toilet seat was fine for a while but now the slow close function is broken. Now the lid slams down which does not mix well with little hands who are used to the slow close. Looks like something burst, sticky gray gel.
