Soft Close Round Plastic Closed Front Toilet Seat in Red Removes for Easy Cleaning and Never Loosens

The Bemis toilet seat is a great replacement for my Kohler toilet. As the color I need has been discontinued, this was a perfect match for half the price. The slow close function was an added benefit.

I purchased this seat 2 years ago. The color match was perfect but I purchased the color samples to make sure of the best match. (There were 3 shades that could have been close but one was an exact match.) When the seat arrived, I was disappointed at the very light weight of the material. However, I was delighted with the color match. The installation was simple once I was able to access and remove the bolts from the previous seat. After just two years of service, a part of the plastic cover hinge separated from the back of the cover. (photo) I contacted Bemis to get a replacement and they were very friendly and shipped one, however it was not the correct shade. Today, the second shipment arrived but alas it was still the wrong shade. The color names are very similar. I needed wild rose but the first replacement seat was pink. The latest shipment arrived today, in dusty rose, not wild rose. Hopefully, the third time will be the charm. I'm still apprehensive about the durability of the product.

Excellent product, my second one. The only problem is you get so used to the slow close that any other toilet you use that doesn't have one you will slam. Done that a bunch of times...

It was easy to install after reading the instructions. Right color match. It fit perfectly. Installed it 3 weeks ago. It meets expectations.

This replacement seat from Bemis for my 25 year old Kohler toilet was designed to be easy to install and easy to clean. The attachment points become semi-permanent, allowing the seat to be easily removed for cleaning and then easily replaced without the use of tools. The color match was perfect, there is no more slamming of the seat or the lid due to viscous dampening in the hinges. They close softly and smoothly and stay open when required. I never thought I could be so pleased with a toilet seat.

Easy to install and good quality, though material is not sturdy enough to bear entire body weight (light framed woman), in the case of painting walls or hanging art, for example. Slow-close lid feature works as expected. Happy with the product overall.

The color matched perfectly and the soft close feature works well. The product exceeded my expectations.
