TGJ Series 24 in. Bar Clamp with Composite Plastic Handle and 2-1/2 in. Throat Depth is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Solid Bar Clamp This is the best bar clamp I have used. It operates smoothly and the rubber grips deliver excellent clamping force. The clamp faces are parallel to each other and perpendicular to the bar providing really nice glue ups. The faces have pads to prevent damage to wood when tightening saving a lot of sanding time when finished. Highly recommend these clamps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another high quality clamp in this series I've got numerous clamps in this series, and they're all excellent - solid materials that are very sturdy and durable without being terribly heavy, easy to use & adjustable. There are a number of different lengths and throat depths in this product line, so if this isn't quite the right size for you, check out the others. The removable non-marking plastic tips on both clamp arms are very nice and work well, you can definitely clamp very hard without cracking the plastic. Some of the Bessey clamps have a wooden handle, others come with the plastic handle - the wood is definitely nice and sturdy, but the plastic does have a textured (rubberized, I think) grip though that is a little easier to keep a grip on,m especially when you've tightened down the clamp pretty tight. The plastic seems plenty rugged and durable, I thought I'd prefer the wood handles but I've come to appreciate the advantages of plastic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BESSEY quality at a bargain price! The quality of BESSEY brand clamping products is legendary and is the first choice of professional crafts-people everywhere. Now BESSEY has introduced their most popular and useful designs in this low-cost version. They grip tight, adjust easily and fast. They include the clamp-pads that protect your projects. The first weekend I had these I used them to repair two old chairs. So they pay for themselves fast! They work beautifully! I admit i have tried to save money by using lesser quality clamps from other suppliers in the past. No more! Now I'm replacing all those old cheap imports with these. You can compare these to other imported brands for yourself to see, these are nearly as inexpensive as the cheapest clamps available, yet they are FAR better. For a few pennies more, you can now experience BESSEY quality for clamping repairs, projects and other shop projects. HIGHLY recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Value Clamp This is a good value clamp to buy a bunch of and keep around the shop. I like having these handy for wood working projects. They are not quite as useful as a parallel clamp, but the price is right. A parallel clamp has a nice flat bottom so that they clamp will rest on a table with the clamp jaws facing up. They also have tall clamping jaws. These clamps lack those features, but the price is a substanstially lower too. I guess you get what you pay for. However, for the price, this is an excellent clamp. It works great and they are cheap enough that you can buy a bunch to have handy when you need them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice clamps This clamp has a nice grip on the handle and the handle fits nicely into your hand. Easy to tighten down. Handle is easy to slide up and down the bar. You can really tighten this one down if need be and no slipping off the teeth or grooves. Plastic on the clamping head and turning head are easy to remove and clean if you got glue on them. Glad to have added it to my clamp collection.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another great clamp You can never have enough clamps and I'm happy to add this one to my collection. It clamps tight, has good friction on the clamp heads, does gross adjustment very quickly and the handle is the right size, doesn't pinch your knuckles against the bar.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very useful the bar is about 50% larger than the other clamps i own and the jaws don't slip on the bar when tightening and the nice handle really allows you to apply pressure

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Holds tight This clamp worked well holding wood pieces together while the glue dried on my last project, before installing the screws. Quickly adjusts to needed size.
