Q:Is there a technique to using this paint? Applied at least four coats of bone color to medium oak wood bar stool and I can still see wood color through paint. Half my container of paint is gone. On one chair. Using a sponge brush. Thank you.

Paint is very thick and covers nicely. Very important to stick with company recommendations for a 2-4 hours drying time in-between coats of paint. I used the off white on a furniture project and a little goes a long way.

Coming up on year 2 and still going strong
I painted our oak kitchen cabinets 2 years ago and it still looks fantastic. I have young children, so our kitchen goes through a beating on a daily basis. I did paint 4 layers with the white, more than I expected at the time. But seeing how well it is holding up makes all the effort worth it.

This is the second time I've used this product; first...
This is the second time I've used this product; first time was on the 50-year-old cultured marble tops. This time it was used on my kitchen countertops as I could not afford new counters at this time. You do need to give the brown topcoats time to cure before applying the sealer coat. I used two coats of each to completely cover the old green tile. I then bought some heat-resistant mats in black to keep the new surface clean and dry. I also noticed that after re-caulking the kitchen sink border tiles, this paint did not cover over caulking. I will have to scrape the caulking off the trim area around the sink and reapply the product later.

Renewed our 20 year oak cabinets
Worth the money. We washed cabinets with liquid sand paper then Painted 2 counts. Sprayed the doors with a cheaper sprayer and it all was perfect. came out looking professional. I would not add water as we did initially and not needed. This paint is thick but it still sprayed easy

Best paint I've tried
I saw alot of vids on this paint and was a little sceptical. I decided to buy it and I was amazed. I painted my cabinets and my front door, I wanted a paint that I wouldnt make a mess sanding and losing and arm trying to get the old paint off. I only cleaned with a rag with soap and water, dried it....tape and cover the as needed and painted with a good brush....paint blends and doesnt leave brush marks. I love this product and have already recomend to friends and fam

Looks fantastic
I’ve used this paint on my bathroom sink vanity and dining room built-in and a side table. It is thick! The consistency of pudding basically and can take a little bit of work to get used to how it goes on but once you get the hang of it it’s really good. It sinks into the wood really well and even looks excellent on cabinets that had been previously painted. I’d buy this again.
