Q:I just painted my bathroom counter. It doesn't dry smooth .... it's almost grainy. The surface was a smooth surface and thoroughly clean.

Q:I have paint marks on the counter tops that I just finished, some are thick some areas are quite uneven in texture.? It was the 2nd coat, whatever the cause how do I best fix it? Wet or dry sand? I have enough paint to reapply 2 coats if necessary.

Worst paint ever
VBought a countertop kit, was very expensive for a chalk paint and after disassembled my kitchen in order to paint the countertop I opend the paint can and it looked like grout plus they have the wrost customer service ever. No one answer the phone. You have to leave a voice message invthe midle of a business day.
Just threw it away 107 dollares!

Prep for Rose Gold
I primed with adhesive primer & a coat of flat white acrylic paint for an even surface after reading reviews.
Two coats of Rose Gold with a roller was blotchy due to user error, but a 2” angled brush always gives me best results, and made a world of difference. It’s gorgeous with the first good coat. Two coats with a brush would have been sufficient. For metallics, I sand between coats & alternate brush direction to eliminate brush marks. Pics are before & in progress, finished to come.

Works Great!
This is the first time I’ve ever attempted painting furniture. I took the advice of a tutorial and purchased Simply Green to clean the furniture really well before painting. Ended up doing 3 coats, looks great and dried fast.

I was looking for a good paint to do my daughters dresser, and decided to give this a go!
I was really impressed with how it turned out!
It looks beautiful! & my daughter loves it!
I used the bright white paint and metallic rose gold.

Awesome product
Purchased this paint along with the White to refinish a bathroom vanity. The product is great. Cover well, but it is time consuming. We were so impressed with how well it covered the vanity & formica top, that we decided to paint a cabinet (which I was planning on getting rid of).
