Q:What happens if I buy this and something breaks, like the motor which raises the seat? Do I call a plumber? An appliance repair? I want to understand this before I buy it.

Amazing quality toilet
We went through multiple toilets that were very difficult to install not only that but unbelievably terrible quality that malfunctions. This toilet is definitely worth the money, it has all the features to support elderly adults who cannot use bathroom properly but also has very convenient options for every day use. It is extremely comfortable and easy to use. it is a great purchase and the best quality if you’re looking for this type of toilet. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !*

Brillian sanitary solution to a fundamental bodily function
I remodeled the master bedroom bathroom nearly two years ago, and purchased this integrated toilet. It has been used over a thousand times and has worked almost flawlessly. The only problem was an interior hose that came unfastened because the spring clamp may not have been positioned properly, causing water to spray out the back of the toilet. It was easy to fix once I opened the toilet and recognized the problem. Occasionally the auto flush mechanism ceases to work, but that's also easily fixed by unplugging the toilet and replugging it so that it resets. I especially like hygienic advantages of the toilet. The water spray is effective and far superior to using toilet paper. I would definitely buy another toilet, although next time I would opt for the more expensive model with auto-open seat.

Installation went great until I tried flushing it. Flush was very weak, as in not enough to flush urine. Our pressure tank runs between 50-70 psi, which is well within specs. I talked with Tech Support and they had me change some settings and then eventually do a hard reset. After the reset, the remote quit working. I resolved the weak flushing by increasing the water line feeding the toilet with a 3/4" pex line and new larger shutoff valve, replacing a 1/2" pex line that was running to it. This was not recommended by Tech Support. This resolved the flushing issue! Flush is not very strong!
I called tech support again regarding the remote and they said they would need to send me a new remote (looking online, this seems to be a common remote issue), which they did promptly. However, now the replacement remote is lost somewhere in the USPS system.... Over a month from purchase and we still don't have a correctly functioning toilet. I will update this review if we ever get a functioning remote....
The Good:
* Powerful flush after installing 3/4" pex water line.
* Bidet function is nice, but we only have cold water option (not heated), as the remote does not function to turn heat on.
The Bad:
* Tech support was not helpful in resolving the flushing issue.
* Remote is not functional. Replacement remote has been lost in the mail. Remote required for most smart features..

After several trips to Japan, I knew I wanted a bidet toilet for my home. After researching several brands, I decided to purchase the Prodigy from bioBidet. I have only had the prodigy for several weeks but so far we are loving this addition to our master bath. The prodigy was super easy to unpack and install. It took me less than 2 hours for the removal of the old toilet and replacement with the prodigy. The prodigy's features are fantastic and we really love the night light. All wash settings do the job great. The dry function could be improved substantially as it does very little in that department. I believe a stronger fan with more concentrated air near the water nozzle is needed to improve this feature. Overall, I highly recommend!

I have the P700. So no automatic lid opening. That’s fine with me though. The warmer, cleansing functions, night light etc-fantastic. The only let down is the dryer. If you’re in a hurry you’ll need TP to dry off quick. Other than that AMAZING.

Great While it Works, after that good luck
This toilet was great for the first few years. After that it started leaking all the time. Customer service is impossilbe to get a hold of. Slow to respond. And you have to pay to send the bidet back so it can be fixed, because they don't have technicians in our area. My guess they don't have technicians anywhere. Stay away and spend your money else where!

One great feature
I have had my Prodigy for over three years. Its single best quality is the large seat size, making it quite comfortable. Most bidet toilets suffer from smaller than normal seats to allow room for the bidet functions. Unfortunately, the Prodigy has several drawbacks, the most notable of which is the squared off design which all but insures that whether you are a man or woman, you will find yourself frequently cleaning the area if front of the toilet.
As the owner of more than one bidet toilet, I find the Prodigy is very noisy. The deodorizer is so loud that I almost never use it. It also has a rather limited supply of hot water and takes a while to reheat it. My other unit is able to supply hot water continuously and you can barely hear the deodorizer. The seat also opens and closes on it own all night long, even though the unit is in a separate toilet room within the bathroom some 15 feet from the bed and around the corner.
It has also been necessary to send the unit in for repairs. To the company's credit, their customer service has been great. If only I could say the same about the Prodigy.

Problems after ob 15 months, service difficult
I have the Prodigy and about 15 months in, it had leaking issues. Was able to get customer support to send a how to check vent system. Turns out that was the issue, but then the remote stopped working. I asked if I could buy the top part only so my wife who is disabled could still have the bidet, but they had no stand alone units. I have to buy the whole thing to have something for my wife to use and they might get the old one fixed in a month. People rely on these things and it seems like they are not designed for durability or service. I did not keep the boxes and they want me to ship it to them. Poorly designed support. If the remote had a cable to connect, that would have simplified things, but no such luck. I feel like I should have just bought a cheaper bidet because they break so easily apparently.
