AnswersI have a 6 car length long driveway and almost equally as large back patio and can do all areas and the street (corner lot) with no problem on one charge AND put the same 20v into my weed wacker and do all the landscaped areas and the street too (again, a corner lot). The strength of the 20v is plenty too - it even blows off loose layers of my driveway sealer and loose pieces of asphalt! So if you have other 20v tools, I wouldn't upgrade to 40v just b/c of the blower (which would require a different charger). This 20v is plenty strong and does the job well (sometimes too well)!
It says the blower works well on smooth surfaces will it work good for getting leaves in a pile in the fall in your grass?

AnswerThe 20V trimmer is LIGHTWEIGHT. I have discovered this trimmer does not have much power, I am able to lightly trim edges without much of a problem. Bigger items the small electric motor can not handle that extra load. I did purchase a B&D GrassHog to handle the larger trimmings. I am suggesting you consider doing the same. Putting the addition of the cutting blades will prove to be a fruitless effort. Kind a like pulling a trailer and speed boat with a VW BUG, looks good but just can't do the job.

Did not last
Bought it less than a year ago which I recently moved to my new home. It was working fine in he beginning used it like twice. Winter came did not use it; spring came and now it does not work.. battery is fully charged

It's a little weak but for the price, the fact that it has no cord, being able to swap the batter...
It's a little weak but for the price, the fact that it has no cord, being able to swap the battery out with any of my other B&D product batteries, etc. it is a great value. I wouldn't expect to be able to use it for major leaf/debris blowing but it works great for quick jobs - cleaning out the garage, moving grass trimmings off the sidewalk, that kind of stuff. It's especially great for garage cleaning - it's so lightweight and easy to reach behind and around stuff!

Just right
Got this a while ago to get me by while my gas blower was in the shop being repaired and discover that it is very handy and perfect for keeping the driveway and walkways cleared and it is the perfect size and weight for my 6 year old granddaughter to use when she wants to lend a hand and help her Pop.

Light weight with just enough power to do the job.
This is perfect for my needs a lightweight quiet leaf blower from my back deck for quick daily use. 10 to 15 mins of power is all I need to sweep my deck of debris and leaves this did blower did it perfectly.

When I was younger I worked 4 years performing grounds and maintenance using commercial grade equipment. At first I was hesitant about using an battery trimmer vs a gas powered trimmer. I must say I was impressed. The first time I used it, I didn't charge it. Right out of the box, I was able to get about 75% of my yard done. Just to give you some idea of my yard. I have a quarter acre with two trees - one if the front with exposed roots and one in the back. I have flower beds outlined with rocks and rose bushes. I have a fenced in backyard with playhouse and good size playground for my boys. I have a shed for my tools and and a 20x30 deck.
After fully charging the battery i was able to cut 98% which included me edging the side walk. Assembly was easy and love the adjustable shaft to compensate for different height and the edger surpassed my expectation. It was easy to switch from trimmer to edger. Light weight and being able to adjust the handle was an extra bonus.
The only cons I can write is the time it takes to charge the batteries. I have a timer on my outlet to make sure I don't over charge my devices. I would say at least 3 hours for a full charge. To prevent much inconvenience, I would edge my yard as much as I could and then charge it some while I use my lawn mower. When I finish using my lawn mower I would then use the time it was charging to finish edging the remaining areas. Still for the price and features I give it 5 stars.
