Great electric knife
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My electric knife just died after 40 years of use. My son has the Black and Decker electric knife and loves it. I decided to purchase the same one. It really works great. I am very happy to make this purchase and would recommend anyone to buy it. You will love it❣

    Safety pin does not work
    I received the electric knife as a gift and although I received the electric knife as a gift and although I have not used it, I washed the blades and inserted them into the knife per the instructions. Surprisingly, the knife ran with the safety pin in both the lock and unlock positions. This makes me question the overall quality.

      Looks good, rated well, but when you open the box be careful. If you hold the box on the end and lift the lid then the box will collapse and drop your knife base onto the counter, or floor if you are not over a counter.

        this electric knife was the worst I have ever used poor power and dull blades couldn't cut a pork roast. returned it immediately.

        Poor qualty blades
        Used knife about 4 times and plastic on blades broke as well as blades getting dull quickly. Replacement blades are next to impossible to find. Looks like its going to go in the garbage and I will be purchasing a different brand. I have had numerous Black and Decker items over the years but no more if this is the quality of what they are selling now.

          Terrible design
          Plastic gear that meshes with the metal worm gear on the motor stripped out after only a few light uses. Junk.

              Bring back the old ones
              Bought 2 last month made one cut with each then they just stopped. No motor on one and the other the blades stopped moving
