Hello, No. Our apologies for the confusion. We are having our team correct that... most of our sinks do. However, the Sotto collection is an undermount/drop-in line of sinks that do not have aprons. However, they are deeper than most undermounts in the same way of a farmhouse sink. Best regards, Bocchi Team
Hello Chris, There are no special brackets needed. We recommended using 2x4s to create the proper support which are easily accomplished in the field. You can see a complete guide to this resources section of our product page: http://www.bocchiusa.com/?pg=product&name=sotto-32_1362-001-0120 You will find both a video and a step-by-step guide. Best regards, Bocchi Team
Hi, All our grids are stainless steel. Sincerely, Bocchi Team

The depth of this sink is 10".
Hello Texas, This can be somewhat flexible.. the sink itself is 19 inches front-to-back with the lip edge that gets undermounted. You will need to allow for a bit of space between it and the front edge of your countertops but you can play around with that a bit. It will also depend on what faucet you pick out for your space and how much room it will require for installation. Standard cabinet depths are perfectly suited to our sinks, but if you are customizing something for a small space such as a tiny home, camper, etc. you may have a tight space. But typical counters for homes, etc. should allow plenty of space for you. Best regards, Bocchi Team
Hello, Yes, this can be installed as a drop in. Best regards, Bocchi Team
Hello, It is not strictly necessary to use the grid, but it does offer several benefits. The sink does not scratch easy in that the glaze is very strong and not easily penetrated-- however, it is possible to get a surface mark on top of the glaze that can look like a scratch. These marks easily buff off using something like Bar Keeper's Friend but the grid would save you the trouble. Also, there is a very slight sloping of the sink base towards the drain that helps water drain freely. The grid provides a stable and level base for stacking dishes so they don't tip over or block this draining. Lastly, the grid spacing itself has been designed to offer some slight flex to it so it helps absorb impact from falling dishes that may have been accidentally dropped into the sink-- helping protect both the sink and the dropped dish itself from breaking. If, considering those grid benefits, you still decide not to the use the grid that is perfectly fine. Best regards, Bocchi Team
