A: It can be, but this screen is designed to be used as a privacy/blockage - not as a stand alone fence. Although it would work for the short term with only stakes, it would only stay up temporarily and not be able to withstand the elements without the anchoring of an existing fence it would be attached to, as it was made for.

A: You could but i would suggest 7 ft stakes. If you have any wind at all you wouldn't want to use this without fencing

A: You may cut the material and it shouldn't unravel. You will lose the reinforced finished ends and the grommets but you would just need to put the zip ties into the actual mesh to connect to your existing fencing.

The material is thinner than expected and grommets were surely not reinforced. Had up for a matter of hours and a "normal" breeze broke grommets out of fabric which caused tearing of the fabric. Again, fence screening was up possibly 24 hours and had to be taken down and returned.
