23 in. Professional Big Wrench Tool Roll with 40 Tool Bag Storage Pockets

Bucket Boss Pro has some really good quality products. I'm surprised that they delivered this wrench roll with pockets that either didn't fit my wrenches or I really had to work it in there to make it fit. I was worried that I might tear one of the slots open so I just decided to back off. I was thinking maybe I just had off sized wrenches so I got another brand and my results were the same. Both brands of wrenches that I used are very common and popular. Not sure what happened here....

For those interested in country of origin, this product was manufactured in THAILAND. The fabric seems to be a canvas type, so it appears it will soften with use but also absorb the grease and oil from the tools being used. The stitching of the pockets and the grommets seems to be done well so little worry about this easily falling apart. However there is no rhyme or reason to the sizing (depth) of the pockets. Seems to assume short tools only, unless there is a large tool version of this product. Wrenches almost disappear in the pockets. Replaced two sets of tools hanging up on the tool bench with this product. Made the tools much easier to access than from the plastic holders. Added a 5 screwdriver set. Folded up this is not clumsy at all.

Who’s the bucket box? The bucket buys it it is a fantastic wrench holder. It folds and rolls right up and cleft and you can stick it in your bucket or carry it with the handle. Each pocket has a size both and millimeters in inches, so it’s easy to find the correct wrench you’re looking for, no more scrounging around the bottom of the bucket for me.

I have a large collection of standard and metric wrenches that I use often. Most of them were in a Sears case that weigh a ton. I took the wrenches out and put them in the Bucket Boss Pro and it makes finding and using my wrenches easy. The wrench roll holds a large amount of wrenches securely. It rolls up into a nice carrying case with comfortable carrying handles. My only complaint is that there is a tight fit when you put a metric wrench beneath a standard wrench. Easy to store this in my shop or truck.

It rolls up for easy transport or storing and has an easy release buckle so it can be unrolled for easy access to your wrenches. (See photo) Having said that, the ease of access gives way to a fight to fit wrenches into the narrow sleeves - or get them out for that matter. For the most part, they're just not wide enough to fit my open, box or ratchet wrenches easily. Everything else I love. It screams quality. It only weighs approximately 1 pound when empty and can be hung nearby using the provided heavy metal grommets (what tool geek wouldn't like to show off their wrench display), and the material is first rate. Just got to make it a little longer (wider) and the slots a little wider so that a wrench can be removed with one hand while you're lying on your back swearing at your car!

BUCKET BOSS Pro 14 in. 40-Pocket Wrench Roll, Brown is a well made, tough wrench roll that can hold a lot of wrenches. I like the color, the metal hanger grommets and the way it displays wrenches. You can see everything at a glance. If you've been tossing your wrenches in the trusty ammo can for years, this is a big step forward. There are some limitations I didn't realize when I got the wrench roll. First, it does a great job with wrenches where one size is open end on one end and box end on the other. The box ends fit easily in the pockets. However, many of my wrenches are two different open end sizes on the the ends of the wrenches. These will not fit easily. For folks like me, I use the double open end wrenches to reduce the number of wrenches in the toolbox. On the other hand if you want a great display of your wrenches hanging on your tool board, and you have open/box ends, this is a great choice.

Bucket Boss Pro 14-inch, 40-Pocket Wrench Roll is a customized roll that has marked wrench sizes on the pockets. It can handle wrenches from 1/4-inch to 1-inch and from 6-millimeters to 20-millimeters long, has additional pockets for stubby wrenches, too. The standard size pockets are all labeled with sizes. I have a number of tool rolls for my wrench sets and like how they take up less room stored away, no wasted space. Just drop the roll I need in my toolbox with other tools, and go to the job. Before the wrenches were a jumble. I own a larger Bucket Boss zip pocket roll, too and this is the same material. It's sturdy rugged canvass that rolls up with two plastic buckles and a woven handle..On top are three grommets for mounting to a peg board in the open display position. The pockets on this roll are tight, guess, to provide for all the different sizes. These pockets are sized best for straight standard wrenches and doubt they'd work as well for bulkier ones. I would have preferred fewer pockets and wider ones that could also accommodate a double of the same size or wider ratchet wrenches. The size markings are nice, but aren't that important because the wrenches are all stamped with their size and as long as they are in order can be located quickly. The other issue I have are end fold over flaps. Being able to fold over the top and bottom of the roll allows it to hold large wrenches that don't have a pocket. Once buckled the end flaps keep them from slipping out when resting on top of the pockets. The position of the stubby pockets don't allow folding up the bottom of the roll as it interferes with one of the tie buckles. It's a nice tool roll, like the large size and all the pockets. It's really designed for those storing a complete straight wrench set. I'm sure most will find it gets the job done, but in my opinion, could be tweaked to be even better.

40 Pocket Wrench Roll. Made by Bucket Boss. Roll only, no tools included. Can carry and the slots are marked for both English and Metric wrenches. A separate area for stubbies. When filled, the unit can be rolled up and held closed with 2 wrap around clips. Also has a cloth handle for carrying. When open, the roll can be hung open via three metal grommets. This makes a nice package if you are doing a larger project where you need multiple wrenches or when you just don't know what sizes you may need. One downside is that not all the wrenches fit into their appropriate slots (the heads would not fit). Had to store a couple sizes other open slots.

This burly Pro Wrench Roll is impressive. It is ideal for the storing of two 15-piece wrench sets ranging from 1/4 inch to 1 inch. It's made from heavy-duty 'Duckwear' canvas and will absorb tool oil over time just like a well-oiled baseball glove. Your wrenches are safe from falling out of the roll because they are secured by tow quick-release buckles that doubles as a carrying handle.

I’m a homeowner/DIY’er, not a pro mechanic, so this review comes from that standpoint. The fit and finish of the Bucket Boss wrench roll up pouch is good, no uneven or loose stitching. The ‘quick release’ buckles work well – I’ve had no problems with the buckles failing to release or releasing unintentionally. There is one issue with the storage pockets – they’re quite snug for some of the wrenches. In order to easily pull the 19mm I first have to pull the 3/4" wrench that sits behind it. See the photo below. Note that all wrench sets don’t have the same outer diameter, some wrench walls are thicker than other. The wrenches in my roll up are a blend of no-name wrenches that I had laying around loose in a toolbox. “Thin” built wrenches would slide into the pockets easier than wrenches built of thicker material. You can see by the photos below which pockets I’ve filled. None of the wrenches were an impossible fit, but the larger wrenches were definitely snug. I’ve deducted one 'star' for the tight fitting pockets; my wrenches do fit – but it's a squeeze for some of them. The size markings for the storage pockets is quite legible, making it easy to find the wrench I need. I do expect the canvas material will “wear in” with some use. The stitching will, I think, prevent actual stretching but the canvas itself should soften and mold itself (a bit, anyway) to the shape of the tools. However, that’s just an educated expectation on my part. YMMV. I’ve not filled the pouch yet, as you can see by the photos, but it rolls up nicely with the wrenches I have stored. More wrenches, of course, will add more bulk – but it beats having the wrenches rattling around in the bottom of my old metal toolbox. It breathes new life into old tools for me – I’ll be much more likely to use the wrenches if I don’t have to dig through a toolbox to find the one I need. The plan is to install hooks on my workbench and hang the pouch for easy access to the wrenches. For my purposes, the Bucket Boss pouch is a clear win – but you do need to keep in mind that the storage pockets may be snugger than you’d prefer, based on the thickness of the wrenches you’re storing.
