Exterior Solar Shades are the better, smarter way to shade your home. They block 90% of sun, wind and mist but still let in soft, filtered, light and air. Because they block the sun from the outside, before it can heat your home, they'll keep your house far cooler than interior shades or blinds. Plus they keep the sun from fading carpets and furniture too. They also provide daytime privacy, leave a clean uncluttered look on the inside of your home and lower your air conditioning bills while still allowing you to enjoy the view. Perfect for: sliders, porches, pergolas, and windows.
  • Varying widths in 6 in. increments from 3 ft. to 12 ft.
  • NOTE: This shade is approximately 3 in. (7.62 cm) narrower than the order size

        Don’t buy it.
        Home Depot advertises it as motorized. It’s not! Home Depot will not let me tell you how long it took to receive the item. The material and hand crank are ok. Just plan on receiving a hand crank regardless of what Home Depot leads you to believe re a motorized system.

        Late shipment & not motorized!!!
        I ordered this product online at the beginning of May, with an estimated delivery date May 29th, 2020. However, it was not shipped on May 31, so I called Homedepot, and they said they will check with the vendor. A week later, it was shipped, finally. We opened it and did not find any stuff to make this shade motorized! Great, now I have to call Homedepot again and wait for another hour to talk to an associate, without knowing how this problem can be resolved! But this big thing may need to stay in the living room for another week? Disappointed!!!
