A:  Yes, you can use small dabs of silicon caulk or I have also used to small SS sheet metal screws.

A:  These caps doesn’t have any fastener. You can use small screws to keep them on place and paint the heads whites, or buy the screws already white, or you can add some white plastic washer with caps to cover the screw. Also you can use caulking to hold them in place, but depending in how you apply it, it will require maintenance in the future. Last idea is to use plastic tape on the corners of the pole to reduce the clearance in between the cap and the pole until the cap fit tight enough to keep it on place. This last me is the one that I most like because it doesn’t alter the shape or the aesthetics of the fence at all.

A:  I just tap them down. Have stayed on during tropical storms. You can glue if you wanted.

A:  I would use some construction adhesive on the cap 1/4" or so up from the edge. That way when you slide the cap on any excess adhesive would end up inside and not visible.

A:  You don’t need to have an interior post support. The vinyl is strong enough on its own. However, if the post will be supporting the inside of a gate you will need either a metal insert or would

A:  The posts are strong enough on their own to support the fence. The only posts I used 4x4 PT was on my gate posts.

A:  It slips on over the outside of the post.

A:  The posts will support the fence. The rails insert far enough that a 4x4 would be in the way.

A:  the vinyl posts are strong enough to support the fence alone . But if you are hanging a gate use the metal I beam insert the HD sells so your gate won't droop.
