Q:do we vent the unit using the heat mode ?

A:  Do not buy, let me start by saying that the AC part work great know problem. Just have to drain out the liquid and it do leak if tilted, no hole extension cord. Now the heating part no good with that every 2 hours I have drain it. I had to put it on something high in order to put a bucket just so I wouldn't have to empty it every 2 hours. Did not get a chance to use the humidifier yet.

    A:  Got the package a little early, installation was a breeze. No water hose is running, touch screen is awesome works great. Even a cool little hidden spot on the machine for the remote control.

      The problem for me are the fact that the water hole is at the bottom it didn't come with any tube...
      The problem for me are the fact that the water hole is at the bottom it didn't come with any tube. I spend so much money on this equipment. I would have returned it if it wasn't so big. It leaks at the bottom when I was full. It does not clearly state in the manual for Batum what certain things are for you got to figure it out. Other than that it's a great wishing it does what it's supposed to.

      Awesome do not screw it to 7500 or even 10,000 BTU, As they dont come close to cooling the square footage that the package says it would do. Only go for $14,000 BTU or higher. Also never get anything other than the four-in-one. Some people might think that it's more expensive, but actually most of the ones that are just AC units cost way more. This brand and machine is completely self-sufficient We love it. It keeps us cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Can't say anything better than this about this machine

      Great Unit
      I have mine a year and it performed very well. I only paid $375 for mine on e- bay, free shipping, but can't find it there anymore. I wish it came with a water drain hose, so draining would be easier. I'm trying to make one up. Doesn't need to be drained much. Has an odd size hose fitting. I use it in kitchen which I vented out back wall. I have an ageing 12,000 BTU window A/C in my living room, so I only run it when needed.
