Are there corner stones for this brick ?

Are there corner stones for this brick ?
Asked by: KoKo
No, there are not. You can split or cut for a 90 degree corner or the block will do a gentle curve without any cutting because the sides are bevelled. Thank you for your inquiry.

Do these blocks have specific caps and also do they make corners?

Asked by: interested
No- no cap blocks. Curve corners are possible with the unit , but 90 degree corners must be cut.

You will need to use paver base, at the least, for its base. You will also likely need to rent the paver/block saw to make any cuts needed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Break apart before you even start Can not believe how these just crumble Went to a lot of trouble to get them home only to have the edges not line up because most the edges had crumbled off leaving it jagged .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best way I have found to install wall. I have now installed 22 pallets, of 60 bricks per pallet. As stated earlier by other review, the base is very important. I dig 6 inch trench and fill with 3/4 gravel. Then set block with 4lb dead blow hammer. Check level front to back and side to side. Lay next block in and level brick to brick along with side to side and back to front. Once base row is set the next row goes in fairly easily. I now have a little over 165 feet of retaining walls between 3 and 4 feet high. I also put a French drain at base with approximately 4 to 6 inches of gravel behind bricks. I now have to save to get approximately 24 more pallets for next project.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from building a retaining walls, things should know. If using 16in x 6in x 10 1/2 in the wt per block 50lbs or so! may want to consider smaller / lighter wt if have Back restrictions. foundation is very inportant once the 1st row or 2 is set( level / sloped) the rest will fall into to place (not literally speaking) Except if when not going in a striaght line. Having to curve forward / back or left / right. You have to be careful of the spacing and the lip / ledge on the lower bottom gets in the way. Cutting, scorring or chipping the blocks is not very easy. mayby chipping, not cutting / scorring. I was told to score with a chisel, then hammer the chisel. then it should break right down the middle. didn't work for me. going to ask for proffessional help so can complete end of wall. and/or make a 90 degree turn. But I not giving up will be adding another level above the 1st( 35ft long X 31/2 ft tall) retainning wall. Hopefully by summertime!!! or at least get started. But get as much information you can from EVERYONE! GOOD LUCK!!! SAFETY 1ST!!
