Product Details
The easy slip-on baseboard heater cover that instantly rejuvenates ugly old, yet perfectly functional baseboard heaters. Baseboarders are the only one-size fits-most perforated steel baseboard heater covers that just slip over your existing baseboard heaters. Only the original front plate and end caps are removed/recycled. Installation takes a couple of minutes and does not require the use of tools or hired help. The one-piece design uses heavy-duty 22 gauge (0.033 in. thick) galvanized steel that stands up to years of physical and chemical abuse. The pristine semi-gloss white powder coated finish can also be painted with a color of your choice using a roller or spray can application for a custom look. Baseboarders are considered child safe for their complete lack of exposed sharp edges while blocking access to the heating element from the top. Baseboarders can also be installed in new construction environments or when the original covers have been completely removed and all that remains is the bare finned tube heating element.
Slips over the original baseboard heater - just remove the existing front panel and end caps
Galvanized steel with a powder coated semi-gloss white finish
DIY installation, no tools, no hired help
Available in all industry standard lengths (use multiple panels and a coupler for lengths longer than 6 ft.)
Use caution when using with electric baseboard heaters* as they operate at higher surface temperatures. *when using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and injury to persons

Answer This Question
A:Â Baseboarders panels and accessories are designed for us with hydronic baseboard heaters, but can be used with other types depending on the dimensions (specifically height and depth). The Basic style panels are 6-3/4" tall, the endcaps are 7-1/2" tall and the inside depth is 3". Note: Baseboarders styles do not accommodate for knobs, levers, thermostats, etc. since hydronic baseboard heaters do not require these functions.

Easy update
This is exactly as advertised. It is good quality and looks so good. Please be sure to measure well. I didn't and the height isn't right (the cover is too short) but it is better than before so I am keeping it. It is a good value.

This baseboard heater cover was better than I expected and easy to install. Definitely would order this again. Had to shorten it a bit, but the end caps make it look professional.

Excellent upgrades
Excellent upgrade and very easy to put on. You just slide it over. The hardest part was to remove the old cover. A little pricey tho... otherwise i would’ve change all the baseboard cover in the house

Would buy again
These are great, easy to install, and made my old, rusty, horrible baseboard heaters look fantastic. Hella expensive, though.

This is the second purchase from Baseboards Basic. I first purchased the premium baseboard and it had several dents. I decided to return and purchase the basic and the dent was worst as you can see from the pictures. Third time is the charm I hope!! I pray it will get to experience a brand new baseboard free from dents!! I will do an update if the next baseboard is better!

Used the baseboarder basic series for our powder room remodel. Love the ease of installation and nice clean look. Its been a little over a year and still looks fantastic. Would have loved to replace all the heater covers through the house with baseboarders if they weren't as expensive as they are.

Fastest and easiest home improvement projects that by far. We initially bought them because our baby kept sticking his hands in the old heaters. Not only did they solve that problem but they look fantastic. We liked the look so much that we are starting to replace the rest. Project took maybe 5 minutes and was well worth the price.

I am a 68 year old female who has never tried a DIY project before. I watched the you-tube video first and thought it would never be as easy as it looked. It was. it took me just 10 minutes from the time I opened the box and it fit perfectly as promised. Looks great. I highly recommend Baseboarders.

Pro's: Well made, looks very nice, installs easily, should last, guaranteed not to rust.
Con: A bit pricey.
For my application there is no other housing behind it, only the bare element.
It fully meets my expectations although I've only had it a few weeks.
